I got my ring! BLUE NILE ROCKS!

Recommended Posts

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful!

I LOVE it!

I onyl took mine off once -- and it was stolen. So, my suggestion is NEVER to take it off unless you have a very SECURE place to keep it.

My CZ replacement e-ring I even keep on at all times and once we say "I DO" the wedding band will never come off (except to clean it or when I'm making meatloaf! haha)!

Oh, your ring is so Bee-yoo-tee-ful!!!!

I take mine off, mostly out of habit. If I do sleep with it on, I roll the stone under to the palm of my hand - somehow I think that will save it from getting snagged.

That is GORGEOUS!!!!! absolutely beautiful!

And I don't take mind off for anything. . .except taking a shower or yard work or something where I know it will likely get very dirty etc. I like having it on ALL the time! :-)

so how many times each day do you catch yourself staring at it?! lol! I used to do that SOOOOO much!

Thanks Ladies! It has been annoying when people automatically look at my fingers when they find out that Im getting married... Even my friend who elopped a few weeks ago, came back home and said, "So When Are YOU getting your ring?" I almost cried. I havent even shared it with anyone else besides my assistant. But you ladies were the first to see it! Thanks for sharing my joy!

As for taking your ring off, I take mine off as soon as I get home. Partly out of personal preference - I've never worn rings so it irritates the heck out of me. And also because we haven't insured it yet! When it's safely in it's box, I don't worry about it. But when it's on my finger, I'm constantly checking to make sure it's still there!

No problems with blue nile except that FI tried to beg them to get their shipping policy changed! lol It didnt work. The ring had to be mailed to his house in the states and he had to depend on a family member to mail it to us here in Japan! I have been so nervous with all the shipping.

The ring looks better in person than on the computer. Its super brilliant! Even the setting is nice.

I havent gotten mine insured yet. In fact thats what I am going to do when I finish this reply!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
