Has anyone that's been to Dreams remember what kind of outlets they have? Will I need to bring a converter with me?

Is it really about an hour ride from the airpoirt to Dreams Punta Cana? I am looking at Dreams PC and Dreams Palm Beach as a possibility for our wedding and am just concerned that it is so far away from the airport. I am not sure how my guests will feel about it! I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

In all the threads and resources I've found it to be aprox 45 minutes from the airport. It is one of the further resorts from the airport but most resorts in PC you're looking at minimum 25 minute commute from the airport. Hope this helps. Oh and the drive is supposed to be beautiful :0)

The drive is about 45 mins or so...I guess some people could think of it as an inconvenience but I think most of our guests are thinking of it as an opportunity to see more of the area outside of the resort. I haven't gotten any complaints about it so far!

melissa - i checked all of my info and you should not have to bring a converter to Dreams PC!

erinsny - i have heard the same thing about the drive... and most people don't mind it especially if you use a transfer service and have a larger van or bus as opposed to a taxi, but either way i don't think it's a deal breaker!

ACH - you only have 10 days left?! when do you leave?! can't wait to hear how it goes!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
