What are you deciding for dinner? I am having a hard time with this one? I will also just do the one choice. Everything will be fine! Once you have everyones outfits and invites out you can make decision right till the end. Plus the resort has so many options should you not want to travel with decorations etc.

Hello, Pilar is currently on maternity leave and from what I understand she returns in the next few days. When you booked your date did you not receive the confirmation email with all your documentation and details? At the very least do you not have an email trail for your date? You should have had to sign the release forms for your credit card with the date application? We booked our wedding 7 months ago and it was made explicitly clear that the external vendor fee is $350.00 not $150.00 or just a day pass? I booked an external DJ and will pay the $350.00 I can imagine this has been frustrating for you. I will say I have found Isela to be a dream. I have changed venues no problem, she responds to questions very quickly. I also found this thread to be a tremendous help for all answers. You should still be able to get married on your day no problem. They have several weddings on most Saturdays for example. The only concession would be the reception venue. Good luck getting this all sorted.

I have seen some occasions where they will do the menus for you but I think the programs are up to you.

We are getting Married on October 16th at 5:00pm at the Pergola, Drinks at Mix and I just switched our reception to bamboo. At first I chose Castaways but liked the more formal look to Bamboo. I was going to choose the Terrace but I think we will get upto 50 guests so I don't want it to be tight.

We are 5 months away.... Yikes where is the time going. I am taking. 1. oTT Bags with stuff. 2. Programs and fans for the ceremony. 3. Napkins (printed) straws, and signature drink signs. 4. Napkins, Table Runners, Centerpieces, Seating Tags, guest book table things, and lanterns, ohhh and candles Most of this stuff is paper goods so it can squish down small. I want to keep it all between 2 rubbermaid roughtotes. We are having about 50 people and it is so much cheaper for me to bring everything. I will recycle or toss most everything after so it will not be coming with me.

Having a sweetheart table is a chance for you and you new husband to pause and spend time with one another. Since the party is so small (mine is the same size as yours) take that moment for you.

Congrats Emma, it's less than 8 months for me but time is going so so fast. I am going to also bring candles and for the ceremony fans on the seats in case it's a scorcher. 40 is a great number of guests! I have been reading a lot of reviews that say if you go over the 25 that you don't need the extra sparkling wine toast or the cake.

I think I saw somewhere that you cannot have open flames only LED candles, does anyone know if this is true?
