Hey! That's too bad about the brazilian, but at least you got your bikini done and I cannot explain how nice it is to just wake up there, put your bathing suit and leave, rather than worry about shaving. Some girls just have a lower pain threshold, so nothing wrong with that. My aesthetician told me that some girls can't even do the bikini wax because it's too painful for them, so you're still in a better position . I love the bags! I've wanted one of those bags (the nautical looking ones) since last year but other expenses always come up and it keeps taking the back seat in terms of priority. When I travel I still like backpacks for some reason, especially since I'll be taking this garment bag which is taller than me haha.

Guys are so hard to shop for. Juan does the exact same thing, he wants something and goes and gets it and totally ruins all my gifts. He also loves his gadgets but the the thing with tech is that it will become obsolete in a few years and I want something that he can keep for years to come. I thought about engraving something for him too but I'm the least poetic person you'll ever meet. Actually writing poems in school was pure torture for me. I'm more of a story kind of girl .

I like the first idea, only because I like the gifts being a private moment rather than having everyone witness it . Besides I'll be too much of a nervous wreck on the ceremony to come out of the script hahah.

I thought about getting Juan some kind of chain because I know he'd wear that. He actually doesn't like rings so chances are he'll end up wearing the ring with the chain. I think a nice watch would be cute because in a way you're "promising him your time from now until forever" . If Juan liked watches that's totally what I'd get him. I also thought about a boudoir photoshoot so I haven't decided yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I totally love the watch idea, especially if he really likes them. I still don't know what I could even get Juan so I'm a total loss for ideas . I want something that he'll be able to keep but he doesn't like watches.

I'm glad Nathan is feeling better! I'm hoping that the crown will come in maybe sometime this week! Did he say he say how long rush orders usually take? This is horrible news but lets' hope the temporary holds well until you can get it fixed, whether it be before or after the wedding. On the bright side, maybe your tooth was going to fall apart anyways, so it's better that it happened now while at the dentist, so he was at least able to put something temporary on, instead of during your trip! Going to the dentist causes me so much anxiety, I hate it

It's so close! I really like your packing list, it's very extensive . -
that's awesome. Have you seen the mermaid fabric under water? It looks super cool . Now I want one!! haha. I'd probably buy a medium/small coverage the first time and then buy a thong if it turns out well. I have a pretty big butt so sometimes it's actually harder for me to find medium coverage that fits ok vs. small coverage. The elastic around the leg holes of the medium coverage bottoms can be really small and they sort of cut my butt cheeks right in half and make it look like I have 3 butts haha, not pretty

how about playing around with the colors a bit? I know it's not ideal but it will be easier than ordering something new and all these pouches going to waste. The pink on the card seems to have quite a bit of blue in it so maybe that's why it's not showing up properly through the blue plastic. Maybe try with colors on the opposite side of the spectrum from blue and see what happens. Maybe it works? If those colors are still not doing it for you, you could always try and sell the pouches on here, I'm sure there's plenty of brides who would take them off your hands and then you're not at a total loss. That's too bad, they're really cute pouches though!

Congrats!!! Now it's sort of official! Don't be worried about your brazilian. Try to relax, maybe take an advil before you go. The more tense you are the more it hurts. You'll see it's really not as bad as you play it in your head. Talking about the lost luggage. It has crossed my mind, but we also have direct flight so it should be ok. I still always pack an outfit in my carryon just in case, including a bathing suit, because there's no way I'll stay in the lobby for a day if they happen to lose my luggage haha. They can find me on the beach My friends are super excited already, at least my close ones, but I still don't think they're as excited as I am!

Gah!! I had replied to everyone and it got erased. Here goes the second shot haha. I totally know what you mean, it might be better to have a contrasting color rather than a mismatched one. I'm just worried that there will be too many colors. The BM dresses are periwinkle, the groom's suit is blue and the GM pants grey. I guess there's some continuity as the guy's ties will be pink like our bouquets and I guess it's not necessary that the groom has to be matching everyone else. I still haven't shown #2 to him but I have a feeling he will pick #1. I'm still waiting for one of the groomsmen to see if he's coming or not so we pay for shipping only once. I love it! It's so mermaidish . I have an obsession with bathing suits, you would think I live by the beach but no, I just love them . I definitely have to check this store out. I kind of thought the same about the no tie look! I thought it looked pretty cool, but I know he wants a tie so there's no arguing with him haha. Maybe I'd consider paying for the 8yr old, maybe, but for the younger ones I think it's a waste of money paying for a buffet. I remember I was 10 the first time I went to a buffet, my friends and I hit the ice cream bar pretty hard, but other than that we didn't eat much. awesome! I need to check them out then. My brother just left to school today but maybe he can try some on over there and then they can decide which ones they like better. Yesterday I saw express has a sale too and they're about the same price . Yeah! We tried a bunch at the store but they didn't have skinny ties, which he really likes , and they were more of a bright pink or a purplish pink which doesn't quite go with our pastel colors. OMG!!! you've created a monster hahah. She has so many cute fabrics and I love the fits, including the thong one . I don't know if I'd wear the thong for the wedding week, with my parents around lol, but maybe for Vegas or the honeymoon? How much are they? Please post pictures when you get it! Do they fit nicely too?

Sorry for being kind of MIA the last few days. I've been following people's threads but I've had very little energy to reply. I caught a stomach bug that has kept me in bed for the last 2 days so not much planning going on. Unless you count all the netflix shows I caught up on... Thanks! I totally love the color as well. It's nice and fun! Very youthful, and same with the fit of the suit. The groomsmen will be wearing dress pants, white shirts and pink ties (same tie as the groom). I wanted grey pants for them but now I think it will look better if they're all wearing blue. We'll be getting them from express because they have a very nice fit and they can be worn again . We're just waiting on another one of his friends to see if he will be standing with us. The ties will be from Etsy most likely. I haven't decided yet on #1 or #2. I found #2 the other day and forgot to show it to the fiance today to see what he thinks. They're both from a store called TieObsessed. They literally have every color under the sun.

Oot/welcome Letter Suggestions
TinkerSofi replied to pddcmc's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
I think that's great! We also added a chart so people can write down the friends' room numbers to they can call each other in the morning and make plans. I had two sides of the brochure and couldn't think what to add so I put the map of the resort. Maybe I should have put some things that you included like the restaurants and dress codes. Some people I've seen also put a conversion chart for money -

Thanks ladies! I love totally love it, and so does he . I can't wait to see him on the day of @veryvalentine @Wafflesmom he got it at Harry Rosen. He spent quite a bit of money on it, but he said that when he tried it on he stopped feeling bad about the cost because it just looked so nice! It's funny because I started out like "Your suit cannot be as much as my dress" but the more I thought about it, I will use that dress once (twice for me because of the reception in Argentina), so it's easier to justify spending good money on the suit. I got a really good deal on my dress and I was really underbudget, so we used the rest of that money towards his suit . It looks very similar to the Armani suit he tried on the first day with the plus being that it was much, much cheaper Some info on made to measure suits For those considering going the made to measure route, which I think is worth it if your guy likes to wear suits, I totally recommend this place. There are two made to measure processes, one in which you pick a suit to start with, then they take your measurements and so they make that suit, in your fabric of choice with your measurements from the get go (rather than having to alter everything later, which sometimes some things cannot be altered). The other way is to make a suit from scratch, which of course is a lot more expensive. We picked the first one and we're super happy we did . The costs really depend on the fabric you pick. There were some around $800, which isn't so bad depending on what you want. You can find very nice suits off the rack for $800, but you just can't compare them with the made to measure fit. It honestly fits like a glove. They have the suit ready in about two weeks and when it comes in they do final alterations (for free), such as hemming the pants and other minor things. For example, we found out Juan has a longer arm haha but when they make the suit they make both sleeves of equal length and then they alter that once it comes in.
