How was all of that less than $200??

Is worth paying the extra hour fee per guest for the hour? I'm just struggling with the concept of paying an extra hour for over 50 guests! That's a ton of money! (Originally we were thinking we'd have a maximum of 20-30 people but everyone so far is coming...eeek...the prices just keep hiking)!!

And it was worth it? What find did your reception end? We've pushed back our ceremony to 4:30

Maybe because we have different packages perhaps? They're listed as an extra option for us. I'm not remembering off the too of my head...did you pay for an extra hour? Or you added it at the time of the actual wedding since everyone was having fun? Did the DJ mind staying an extra hour if this is what you did? (Sorry...I've been reading reviews today so I'm muddling up the different ones in my head! Lol)

They bring the fireworks? Then why does the resort want to charge us extra for the fireworks? Grrrr lol

They're going to be a pain to pack for us since there's 8 of them but honestly you can't beat the price!! Especially after you see small lanterns in other stores for $25+ plus that don't pack flat!

That would be fun to do for my AHR since I don't have to worry about packing it up!

Does anyone know if we're allowed to release sky lanterns at the end of the night at our resort?

jordanb! your tables were so pretty!! Did you bring those lanterns down with you, or did they have them there? I was thinking about doing them also!! Congrats on getting married! Everything looked so beautiful in your pictures!

Thank you so much!! Luckily at my resort they have an entire Gluten Free menu for my mamma...but wedding cake wasn't mentioned there so this will be amazing if it works out!

I don't know the designer...I'm the worst bride ever! Lol! I got it at David's Bridal and it's the cheaper version of a Vera Wang apparently...I just wanted to get the whole dress buying thing over with on the first shot! Lol

Sadly, I feel like I have to agree. I feel like it's half an "honesty" issue and half a "secrecy" issue. There are so many times when there were options, choices, etc that I didn't even know existed until I read them on here. Instead of being up front with things I feel like I have to know what to ask which is really hard. I also feel the same as you- even when I ask a very specific question I don't always get an answer (or I get conflicting answers).  Oh well.. I have to say that all in all planning is very fun and I do feel like it will all come together in the end. There are so many brides that have said it does come together and it feels perfect. I really can't wait... June will be here before we know it!  Good luck with everything!

Hi Ladies, I'm having a hard time with shoes!  My dress is ivory/champagne and the material is lace.  I can't find elegant wedges!  Any suggestions?  I don't mind flipflops as the party progresses but I would really like to walk down the aisle wearing heels (my walk will be on grass, sand, then concrete). I'm not at your resort but I'm finding the honestly level to be a bit "off" at ours too! All to nickel and dime us! And when I ask a very simple point-blank-bottom-line question requiring a simple answer they still seem to skirt around it. Very frustrating! I know once we get down there it will all be fabulous...if I have any hair left from pulling it all out by then! Lolol

That's awesome! My FI manages a strip club and I can relax and party with the best of them...that's why it worries me what his friends will try and get him to do for his BP! He already has it pretty good! Lolol And congratulations on 14 years!
