Does anyone have recommendations on DJs? Not sure what my options are under the approved Lomas list. Did you have options? I definitely want someone who will help get the party started, I also would like to give a list of certain songs we would definitely like played. Any pointers?

You said you TA ordered the pinata, was she in Mexico? Did she have it delivered to the hotel? Love your photos! Was DJ Dorremix under the Lomas/Approved DJs? Or did you get charged a fee to bring him in? Thanks!!

Has anyone worked with Brigitte? I believe shes a new coordinator out of Miami. Just beginning my discussions with her, my TA has done most the initial work for us. At what point were you sent the detail sheet?

Hi @@barnet202! I don't believe so. The Sky Deck is a set fee of $1700, it includes a few different things though. Any ceremony on the sky is the standard $1700. SKY Wedding Package $1,700 USD SKY deck ceremony location that accommodates up to 80 people: Cocktail area with tables Ceremony location overlooking the Caribbean Lounge area White glove service SKY welcome cocktail served to all guests upon arrival SKY deck cold towel service for each guest during ceremony SKY deck fans placed on each seat Personalized printed ceremony program with SKY deck photo SKY webcam service featuring live internet broadcast of the ceremony for up to 20 users Souvenir silver photo frame for the bride and groom The SKY Wedding Package is available as an add-on to the Pearl, Silver or Gold Wedding Package only. Location has a maximum capacity of 80 people and is only accessible by elevator and then one flight of stairs. SKY Welcome cocktail options: Sparkling wine, Sensatori Mojito, Traditional Mojito, Bellini, Blue lagoon, Mango Mojito, Sangria or Mango Margarita.

I've heard the Chef is very good about food allergies, etc. I would definitely bring this up with the wedding coordinator. They will make special orders for any dietary restrictions. I have vegans and someone that needs a very 'bland' diet due to prostate issues.

I am running in the same issues as we are about to send out our invitations with resort info/rates. Not sure how to politely do this, but there are many perks if we get more people to book through our group rate with our TA.

We went to Now Jade for a resort review and had such a bad experience (food issues, bugs in the rooms, rusted shower)... We also felt that the wedding packages were cookie cutter, not including enough and you paid an arm and a leg for guests over 25. We are now going with a Karisma Property... Take a look at Azul Sensatori or Azul Fives

Im working with a hometown photographer as well. Most of them wanted travel expenses + compensation. Our photographer agreed to shoot our wedding and we are just paying for her travel costs (air, room, transfers) for 3 or 4 nights. We plan to give her something extra through.. just not sure how much.

@@kmk2016 I just asked my travel agency and they said this: "The wedding deck at Sensatori Mexico just had a remodel- new floor (stone tile, similar to AZUL Fives), new gazebo – similar to AZUL Beach- white color. I am not aware of plans to offer color options for the gazebo/palapa on the sky deck. They are plans attached to the floor due to the winds."

Hi all! Who plans on bringing their own decorations? How do you plan on transporting them?

I've heard rumors that the structure on the sky deck is no longer the dark wood... and now white. Can anyone confirm? I hope this isn't true because I really love the look of it.

Hi Hi Amanda! My fiance Christine and I (same sex) are getting married June 25th, 2015, day before!! We are having our reception at the Plaza Zavaz, I've heard this is the best location for receptions. You can find a lot of photos floating around the site. How many people are you expecting to come? As they book two wedding per day, I would lock in your locations ASAP to ensure you are getting your first choice. We tried to schedule June 26th and it was booked, so there definitely is already two weddings on your day.. same with mine... busy time!

Ceremony/Cocktail hour - Sky Deck Reception - Beach Is anyone having a welcome reception? Hi! You can get married on the beach.. its not very private though, or private at all. Ive seen some of the beach wedding photos and they all have crowds surrounding them watching. But the Sky Deck is beautiful!
