Hi everyone, My FI and I have decided to send out postcard save the dates (assuming we don't get a full postal strike!) and we'll direct people to our website where they can find travel and booking info, etc... And then I'll send passport invites to those that have accepted which will have detailed information about the week, wedding date, time, location, welcome/rehearsal info, etc... Anyone know where I can have postcards made? Thanks!

I plan to do the same.. I really want the pictures but there is no way I'm going in the ocean or pool in my silk dress! I've seen lots of long white dresses that would totally work.. am going to wait until all the summer stuff goes on sale!

Hello 2012 Brides!! My FI and I have a date: April 18, 2012 - Iberostar Rose Hall Beach! We're going to stay at the Suites but will be having the wedding at the Beach. This will give our guests the option of choosing one or the other and we can still stay at the Suites Congrats everyone!!!

I also found some fuschia colored ones for my BMs. I also picked up these hand sanitizers at bath and body works for 1$ each + $10 off for spending more than $40 (picked up a few other things). Thanks dominiqueamber! I love, love, love the all black with the white sash, looks perfect! i'll check them out online!! I'm sure i'll be able to find a similar style and just add a sash in whatever color when I finally settle on one. I'm also going to bring color in with tropical flowers

That's a great deal!! Did you have an early booking bonus deal or something? I guess if we looked at January we might be able to do better, when we were looking at january, they wanted a deposit by end of May which would have been impossible given we haven't sent out invites! It was an early booking promo, weird that they don't have them for the April travel! We have told everyone April now so we're looking for something in April. I contacted a TA, she's been pretty great so far, I got quotes from her today, will be looking at them tonight but at a glance it still looked like it was about $2000. My TA did say April is really popular for weddings... I think we are going to have our wedding at the Beach and maybe upgrade ourselves to the Suites. I also tried a few different TA's, all similar pricing, but current TA has been much more responsive
