  1. Nice to see another Atlanta bride planning for a USVI wedding! Everything certainly beats what's available here for weddings! Here is the info for the person I was in touch with from the tourism board: Renee James-Lovejoy Sales Team Administrative Assistant U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism 3961 Floyd Road Suite 300-391 Austell, GA 30106 T: 404-688-0906 F: 770-745-2757 E: [email protected] W: www.visitusvi.com
  2. Jenn, we have Blueglass booked for our August 2011 wedding in St John, so I'll be sure to let you know how it goes. We tried to get Sage Parker and Kelly O, but neither were available. I think that Blueglass will do a really wonderful job though. Good luck with your planning!!
  3. Does anyone know of a good place to order solid color drawstring backpacks from? I'd like to find some for under $2 each.

  6. Thanks so much for the tips! Do you think one month is far enough in advance to ship boxes? Sorry to hear one of yours got lost, did you have it insured?
  7. Hi Ladies, We are currently planning our August 6, 2011 wedding in St John, however, we'll be using several St Thomas vendors. Janelle @ Island Bliss is our planner, and she has been great so far. We're also using DJ Snow and Blueglass photography. MoeMarx: I would love to hear what you guys think of the cakes you try! We aren't going to be getting back down there before the wedding so we'll just have to cross our fingers! I don't know if we'll use a bakery in STT or STJ yet. amys325: Did you ship any boxes down to Janelle in advance? I am a little worried about how much that is going to cost.... Oh also- a tip for everyone: I live in Atlanta and saw that there is a local USVI tourism board here, so I got in touch with them via email to see if they might have some maps of the islands available. Well, she sent me a box full of USVI t-shirts, bottle openers, luggage tags and maps!! So, these are all going in our welcome bag!! http://www.visitusvi.com/homepage
  8. I ordered mine from Etsy seller bbond0520, she was great to work with. Those of you more creative DIY'ers could probably duplicate these pretty easily though! Here they are:
