I brought the sashes with us. At the time, we paid $55 and they set up the gazebo, cocktail hour and reception area. I think they charge $65 per event now. Everything was held at Bugambilias Terrace. I didn't tell them how to set anything up. This is how they do all of them, I think.

I used a foam brush. You have to put the crackle on really thick and make sure it is completely dry before painting over.

There was large umbrellas at our cocktail hour and reception. We did not ask for them, and we certainly didn't pay for them. As you can see, there was one over the bar, one by the buffet dinner, and there was another not shown that was by the cocktail set up.

We had Claudia Fonseca for our WC before the wedding, but she left for an emergency before we got there and we got passed onto Valeria Vera. Both ladies were fabulous. Claudia was always able to answer questions within a few days and even helped out when the reservations department wouldn't return phone calls. I wish I never had to deal with anyone in Miami, they were horrible!!! We didn't have a link for bookings, that wasn't available. Our guests had to call the reservations and put down 20% deposit with the balance due 60 days before departure. That's also when they closed the block, but we were able to book rooms after that date, they just had to be paid in full at reservation.

We made all our wedding arrangements with Claudia Fonseca, she was great. She is a day of coordinator. When we got there, she had an emergency, so Valeria Vera took over. Both of them were very sweet and answered all our questions. Once you have contact with them it all runs smoothly. For those worried about spending money on a carriage, it's only $130 and worth every penny. It is amazing in the pictures and makes you feel like a real princess. Just make sure to stop for some champagne when you pass the golf course, or some water.

I get the same message. I really hope this gets fixed because otherwise I will be constantly closing and reopening threads every time I want to change something.

For those of you doing TTD, are you planning on staying on the resort? My only regret about TTD is that we didn't go to Beach Palace to do our pictures. The ocean is so much clearer.

We brought freeze dried rose petals. I split them into two packages and I carried half and gave the other half to MIL. We didn't declare them and both of us got the green light so no customs search. We also brought 60 sashes in our colors. They used some at our ceremony and the others to decorate our cocktail and reception. Just as a note, they don't let you hang things ever since one of the WC had something drop on her head. If you want hanging items, you have to purchase through Deco Cancun.

I don't remember anyone ever being able to use palace money for upgrades. You can only use them for packages. As for the wind, because of where MP is located, there is always a breeze. That's why there is so much seaweed. I wore my hair done and it was blown around but not horrible. They did tuck my veil into the back of my dress during the ceremony though.

I would pick Gondola over Barracuda. Gondola is on the golf course and it more formal.

Thanks MrsD2B - All the bouquets had orange callas, yellow callas and white orchids. In the BM bouquets, I added white stephanotis with rhinestone centers. And I had the fuchsia fresh roses added to mine. I also used the bouquets for our centerpieces. We had a sweetheart table and 3 round tables for our guests. I put my bouquet with my parents' table and the BM bouquets with the other two. MP provided the vases and put pink gel beads in the bottom of all the vases.

You can always pay to make the cocktail hour longer. I think they wanted everyone to leave so that they could rearrange stuff for the reception since we had it in the same space.
