  9. The way the 30 Day Shred works is you do a 20 minute workout working both legs and arms and then a little bit of ab work. It's three minutes of legs and arms — for example, in level one, the first set is push ups followed by squats with arm presses. So you do one arm move for 30 seconds, followed by the compound movement for one minutes and then repeat. The it's onto two minutes of cardio, then into one minute of abs. There are sets to the entire workout. It is a killer workout, I had great results when I was doing it regularly.
  10. Bruce Willis = the whole nine yards
  11. Congratulations! Where are you getting married? I can't help you with a DJ, but I can give you contact information for a cake, rentals and flowers, as well as an officiant if you haven't yet found one. For our cake we are going with Mariposa Pastry, Chelsea has been great so far and the prices are great. Here is her e-mail, [email protected], and here is the link to her Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mariposa-Pastry/130279440355534. For rentals and flowers we are dealing with Eventos Boadicea. They have been wonderful to deal with, very quick response times and more than willing to help out. Here is their website, http://www.eventosboadicea.com/contacto.html, and link to their Facebook page where you can see some of their gorgeous set ups, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Eventos-Boadicea/128504043112. 14. Thank you so much for the link to Eventos Boadicea. They have been amazing to work with and have some beautiful set ups!! The florist recommended by the villa has not yet returned any of my dozen or so e-mails and Eventos Boadicea has been quick to respond and very helpful. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
  15. Here is what I am hoping for. I have just sent this photo off to the florist so I am hoping they can recreate something similar. I do not want the chain but want to keep the aqua ribbon as our colours are aqua, green and ivory. The BM's will have smaller bouquets with ivory calla lillies. Grooms bout will match my bouquet while the GM's will match the bridesmaid's.
  16. Everything looks great. Love the guitar idea. So unique and something you will always cherish. Congrats!!
  17. Wow, what a great thread. Very thorough and full of ideas. Congrats! Everything looks amazing!
  18. Hey everyone I have been so inspired by all the DIY projects on here. In October last year we sent out our invitations for our Nov. 18, 2011 wedding in Costa Rica. We did messages in a bottle for the official invitation along with a passport book of information and a boarding pass reply card. Everyone loved them. Since we are booking a villa and handling the payments ourselves, we are sending out an update via brochure along with DIY luggage tags. Here are some pics. The brochures I made on Photoshop and had them printed through Vista Print (just got them today and love how they turned out). For the luggage tags I found images of different Costa Rica wildlife and printed them business card size on photo paper. I cut the images and glued a name tag to the back, printed on cardstock. I bought self-laminating business card sheets from Dollarama, eight for $1, and they turned out AMAZING. Very sturdy, I highly recommend using those for luggage tags. Then a tied them with different coloured gimp, also from the dollar store. I also ordered thank you cards from Vista Print for free. The design is one of their ready to order ones of a starfish.
  19. We finally decided on our ceremony set up ... it's beautiful. We were originally going to go with a company the villa concierge recommended, but after dozens of unreturned e-mails I found my own vendor and she has been great for responding. One week after contact I have a quote ... and for the entire ceremony set up, benches, chuppa etc. and reception set up, tables, chairs and linens, it will cost around $650 incuding delivery and set up!!! Here is what it will look like. I might add some aqua organza to tie the white material. Not sure yet. But I am in love with the benches ... only $80 for the 10 we will need
  20. Sixteen Candles = Michael Shoeffling
