That is a beautiful dress! It was really nice that you found out that they are discontinuing it before they actually did it; at least you have a chance to buy it if you decide that it's 'the one'! You better post some pics...good luck!!!

I have thought about it too...they are sooo stinkin' expensive! And its not like we are going to be able to keep them and enjoy them either! But I am only using flowers for decorations...I scored on some bouquets from a former Jamaica bride that match our dresses perfectly!

OMG...total heart attack! This is the stuff nightmares are made of! I am storing my Maggie at one of my bridesmaid's houses...simply because I don't trust myself having it at home (i'd be trying it on all the time...doing the friends episode and thinking that it would be a good idea to have a glass of wine and strut around in it!) So yesterday I am browsing Craigslist just for fun, looking through wedding stuff and I come across an ad for a Maggie style Jenna...wow I say...that's my same dress! So I open the ad and continue reading and come to find out that the dress for sale is the same style...same color... and holy hell, the same size!! OMG! and it is being sold in a town 20 minutes from where my dress is at!! WTF!!! I called my friend...i love her to death but we really have only known eachother for 2+ years...and I deep down know she would never do anything like that...what if someone stole the dress from her house?!?! So just to be sure...I made her text me a pic of my dress in her closet just for piece of mind! COULD YOU IMAGINE! What if that really happened to someone!?!?! I think I would die!

 We didn't do RSVP for Jamaica...we are going to do them for the AHR though as we will need the count...but I didn't figure that I needed to send anythink like that...figured if they booked they were coming, if they didn't book they werent...we don't have to finalize numbers until we get down there so we went that route.  I did send out our formal invites for Jamaica 2 weeks ago; I enclosed the STD for the AHR in a seperate envelope inside the Jamaica invitation though, along with a flyer from our TA. I created invites for our AHR in June that I have not yet ordered but will soon and I plan to send those out in March or so. Â

Don't know if you ladies or any of your FI's or people in your wedding party like to golf; but currently on the GBPJ page on Facebook, they are advertising to ask about their unlimited golfing package...I have our TA trying to get in touch with Beverly about it (she seems to be MIA again) to see if it will still apply next year when many of us will be down there...I will share the updates when I receive them!

I totally would have been doing the same...so for the sake of keeping it clean...I sent it to one of my BM houses! I almost cried putting it in the trunk of her car!!! Â Now everytime there is a storm (for some reason there have been a lot of tornado warnings in this area lately), I picture my dress twirling through the air!! She knows me sooo well that she texts me each time to tell me that my dress is safe and sound in her house!  I ordered a Maggie...it took the exact quote of six months to come in; I ordered the end of January and it was here the 2nd week of July. So as it was mentioned...I would definately start looking if you like that line!  I didn't do STD for the DW. I am sending out STD's next week for our AHR that we are having in June. I kinda thought I would be thrifty (or perhaps some may view it as cheap...can't please everyone) but I am including the STD's inside the envelopes for the invitations to Jamaica...I am just beyond amazed by all the people that some of you ladies already have booked! We just got ourselves booked...how did you motivate people to do it so early!? Â

So it was somewhat confusing...or at least they were confused, but I got ahold of them and initially they asked what resort we were staying at, I told them and they told me to contact the resort to get the books. I referenced that all you ladies had contacted them and then something must have clicked and they asked how many books I needed, took down my address, and said that they would be on their way to me...YAY...Another thing to check off the list!

They are both really beautiful, but I think I like the one on the right...it is sooo unique looking! I love how the turquoise pops out of the white! Looks more DW than the first..more tropical looking flowers Â

Wow...you are really my date twin!! Im scared to ask, but what day in december did you get engaged? We are getting married at the Gran Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay Jamaica on May 7th. He proposed on December 5th... Way too ironic!!! lol!

I tried calling the bureau yesterday, said I was being transferred to a receptionist, and the phone just rang and rang and rang...have any idea what the hours may be? It was only 3:30pm CST here...
