Bride 2B22: Hey, yes it is def worth it. His work is amazing and he also happens to be an old friend. Our wedding date is 11/11/11. We are having a 10am ceremony. At first I was upset about it but now I'm fine...I think early ceremonies and receptions are elegant and plus our guests can have the rest of the time to do whatever else they want.

Hey Ladies, My fiance and I decided to fly in our own photographer and pay for his flight and hotel stay. The package that he is giving to us is so much better than what the Cancun photographers were offerring. He is offering us 3 days of service for less than what a Cancun photographer was charging. Even though we are going to pay his flight/hotel, it will still be more reasonable than what the other photographers charge. We will also get ALL of the pictures instead of the limit set by some of these Cancun photographers. I highly suggest you ladies flying in your own photographer if you are still indecisive.

BDW travel agents
Vanessa C replied to giraffexx's topic in Destination Wedding in Riviera Maya, Cancun & surrounding areas
Is it more economical to go through a travel agent or book directly through the resort? Â Thanks -
Help people! I need help! What has your experience been like with having your church in the US authorize the catholic ceremony in Mexico? The church in Mexico is requiring we provide only copies of the documents and the authorization letter from our priest so that we can marry in Mexico however our priest is stating that the "rules" are that the actual documents be kept in the church where the marriage will be held and that they are required to also do some type of questionnaire with us.... I'm so clueless on how to make this work. Please provide any advice you may have. Â Thanks!! Â Â Â Â Â

Hi dreameyes, what Nadennec said is true. However my priest is still questioning how this will be possible. The chuch in Cancun wants only copies of our baptism certificate, confirmation certificate, copy of our pre-cana course, and the authorization letter from our priest. My priest wanted to know if the church in Cancun will also be doing the "prenuptial investigation" which my priest says is a questionnaire that needs to be completed and they responded that no, my priest has to do it. Isn't it absurd that they are requiring our church to do all of the leg work??? Anybody else have any comments on this?

Hey Ladies, I was just wondering if anybody that is planning their chapel wedding having a difficult time with their priest and his comprehension of what is needed for the ceremony to be held in Cancun? My priest does not understand how the chapel plans to perform the ceremony because they're are asking our church over here to do all of the leg work. What are your thoughts/concerns/issues? I would love to know! Thanks Vanessa

Got my TTD Dress!
Vanessa C replied to Tissey's topic in Destination Wedding in Riviera Maya, Cancun & surrounding areas
very pretty! Do brides usually get another dress for their TTD sessions? That's what I was thinking of doing so that the actual dress doesn't get ruined even though it will never be used again! lol -

Hi, I'm actually still deciding on what would be the best option. For now, we are thinking of playing our own music to save money but I also like the idea of not having to worry about what will play next....

Our Wedding was on Friday and he met us at the airport the following monday and brought us our CD with every picture he took as well as 70 printed photos of our choice ( we picked the photos out online saturday). Our resort charged $40 for a day pass for photographers. Feel free to view my pictures at Cancun Wedding Photographers in Riviera Maya. At the bottom of the home page put tonia in the user name blank. Our videographer was awesome as well. He charged $750 and was worth every penny!!! I would highly recommend getting a video, they caught moments and memories the camera can not!!! Good Luck Ladies!! I promise in the end it is SO WORTH all the stress!! Best Day of My Life!! Mrs. Lockard!! Thank you sooo much Tonia! This was very helpful-it does seem like your photographer and videographer were affordable. I will def look into this. Thanks for sharing your pics, they are beautiful! Congrats!
