Does anyone know if we have a formal type rehersal with Chandlyn? Also, does anyone know the extensions of the people at the hotel...say spa, front desk as I am making a newsletter thingy up now and though that it might be helpful....23 days until we leave!!!!

I contacted cookiemunchkin about a month ago to ask when she was going to send the starfish to me and again last week and I still havent heard from her so I am getting worried as I leave in 3 1/2 weeks and I am from Canada, just wanting to make sure I have it for my big day!! These are the pics that I have come across.. Grill Grill Italian Italian - little room off to the side of weddings so its a little more intimate...or basically youll be sitting with everyone else if you do rent it for a private dinner.

I bought some chinese aqua paper lanterns yesterday for the gazebo as I saw for the free package they just wrap white tulle around the posts so I wanted something to make it a little nicer. I bought 4 aqua and 2 white and I am wondering if you all think that will be enough...I dont want it to look too bare but at the same time I dont want it to look tacky... I also was scratching my head lastnight over who will set up the lanterns at the gazebo and we also have chair ties...further in the restaurant who sets up the centrepieces, I am just curious as I feel the resort should but if they arent I am going to have to ask someone to do it. I feel as though I am getting more and more worried about the little things as day pass...I am deffinately in need of a drink!! haha

I totally hear you!! I work full time and I am also in Nursing school...I finish in December! The next two weeks with clinical and exams are going to be stressful but whenever I am stresses I dream of sitting on the beach with a drink in my hand! lol I am doing the free package with 43 people and it still works out to be cheaper. Actually the free with everything (judges, extra people, flowers and gazebo rental) worked out the be the same as the blissful love package I was going to go with and you get way more!! I did my final dress fitting today and now I am even more excited if that can even happen!!

Gorgeous!! I am still undecided on flowers...its the last thing to decide for the wedding and I am having such a hard time. Is anyone leaving flower decisions until they get there ans sit down with Beverly?

Tris - keep on her, I actually went to my travel agent and said you need to get this booked for me as she was giving me the running around saying she could only note it on my file...not good enough! and by the end of the day the Italian was booked, I think that was like 2 weeks ago and I am the start of May. Our TA said that the rates actually went up for us...I think the single did by like $300 so I am glad we locked it in way back when. I got a confirmation from her on Friday saying everything was booked and good and that we should get our tickets about 3 weeks before....its a lot to keep track of as we have 43 people coming with us! We are very excited as we are having our Stag n Doe next weekend and we plan on handing out our OOT beach bags then with the tickets...only 38 days until we leave

Acw - sorry to hear about all the fam stuff going on, at the end of the day it is your day again and if some people are missing out on seeing you guys at your AHR that is too bad that it cant be resolved for you to celebrate and share your love with everyone. I have a question for ya - you said that you got married on a Tuesday and there was a beach party that night so you wernt doing the gazebo dancing...did you like it? what went on at the beach party etc? We are thinking of doing that now too and ditching the gazebo to save money, your thoughts would be amazing!! So...finally have the restaurant booked and found out there is 3 weddings on my day which I am not really a fan of...but what can you do I guess right? On a lighter note I go this week for my final dress fitting and to get a bussle put in...I hope it still fits as its been awhile!! lol

Welcome to all the new brides on here...everytime I come back there is more of us which is amazing!! I am also interested in seeing the new packages for 2011 as I am scratching my head that they are cheaper...can you send them to me at [email protected] or copy and paste them on the thread as I am sure we are all interested in seeing this. I have had a crazy week and have found myself ranting a lot lately to my FI and mom...I was even called a Bridezilla by them!! lol Our travel agent as she has over charged some of our guests and I had to argue with her to refund them, then about the room bookings, and reserving the restaurants for our wedding dinner...she told me that the new tower that just opened is only for NON golden people and they take preference for Air Canada travellers...this doesnt make sense to me as Golden you have to pay more for an older room? who the heck knows!! I have decided to calm down and not worry about it anymore and that everything will be fine on here like everyone has said..the wine I am now drinking may also be helping this too! haha

For all us April May girls I am wondering if any of you have gotten a conformation about the restaurants for you wedding day as I spoke to Chandlyn awhile back and she said to contact her 4-6 weeks before the wedding to reserve the restuarant...I am now at that time and she said that she still can only note it on my file and not book it..I am starting to get really fustrated as I feel we are all getting the run around.

Agreed! I forgot this existed until another bride reminded me about it. I am getting married on May 3rd in Jamaica. Planning for me is going well, I feel like there is a bunch of little things left to do that will consume my time. We have totally finished our OOT bags which makes me feel good...I think it took a whole weekend to put them together. We are now in the process of planning our stag n doe and finishing up odd and ends. How is everyone else's planning coming?

I know I should just leave it until we get there like other brides have said but I have a very OCD type personality and want to make sure everything is okay before we leave. Love your bags!!! We actually got one love with our wedding date engraved inside our rings. Our bags are way to heavy and big to bring down to Jamaica, plus I am a heavy packer so we are handing them out when we get our tickets from our TA which is like 2 weeks before we depart. We plan to drop them off at everyone's house then so they can go through them and pack things where they want. This is where we got our stuff that your searching for Stadium Cups (prob going to order from Ebay) - 4imprint.ca - amazing to work with!! -aloe - got from Avon when they were like 80 cents each for a big one -face clothes or bath puffs - $ store - 3/$1 -key card holders (I got my BM's cute Coach ones but everyone is getting plastic ones...as cheap as I can find!) - ebay - I think they are called like transverse card holders or something weird like that -chap stick - again Avon -puzzle books & Pens - $1 store -also going to get some Jamaican postcards - we did this too - I made them from Vistaprint...that site is SO damn addicting!

I made the drink guide actually...we were going to make a Brides drink and a Grooms drink so I was on websites and I typed in Jamaica and there were so many cool drinks I couldnt resist...plus it made me procrastinate from homework for a bit! lol
