Still not sure what wedding package it is but the colors and style are the exact same as teh first wedding I posted, so it must be something that tehy let you know if available once you get in the thick of planning. Â This is so exciting!

she might have jsut gotten the complimentary package and either paid extra for gray fabric or they had it available and jsut used it instead. Or she might have brought it with her. But definately not a wedding package. Â

If we get teh number of guests I'm anticipating, aproximately 50 - 60 ppl, then we'll have a private reception. But mostly because all private functions are free if your group books enough room nights. Â I've seen some pics that their decor company sent me and it looks nice, but it comes with a price. Â As for review of musicians you should check out the Moon Palace threads. Lots more brides get marreid there and have discussed all of that stuff. Â

Welcome AMH777. Â I chose to go with the complimentary package because I wanted to do my own thing with color choices and decor and get an outside photographer. Plus, the package only covers decor for the ceremony, not the reception. So I figured I could find ways to get teh exact decor I wanted to cover both ceremony and reception. Â But everyone's tastes and preferences are different. Â

Welcome AshleyNicole! Glad to add another to the number! I'm not sure what it is about this forum and Beach Palace brides. I too was sold by the trip advisor ratings and reviews. I figured if I was going to ask people to get on a plane and join me in Mexico I had to be certain they'd be getting top-notch service! Â Maybe its a certain type of bride that chooses that resort and their not the same kind of bride who uses this site? Â A friend of a friend just got marreid there this past Saturday and she never even ehard of this site. Not sure what's going on. Â Glad to have another gal on board. Â

What up 2011 Brides? Our wedding is in June 2011, Beach Palace in Cancun. Been poking around the forum for a few months now but starting to get in gear with the planning. I've got the location, dress, shoes and OOT bags. I feel like I've just barely scratched the surface with the planning. Right now I'm in the hunt for a photgrapher. Have all you ladies booked yours already?

I am so excited for you! How many guest will you have total? My Miami coordinator has been Diana. She's been great. Our wedding isn't until next June, so we've got quite a bit of time. I'm just going to live vicariously through you. Enjoy these final moments of planning. Before you know it you will only have the memories and be posting a review for the rest of us!

Welcome to the forum! It was really helpful for me to just start reading reviews that brides have already posted on the hotels in RM. Also doing a search in the RM section of hte forum for kid friendly might help. Good luck!

Hey Ladies. I work in a very small organization and work very closely with just my supervisor and one other person who has the same job as I do. I'm new to the area and have no friends or anyone to socialize with so I end up talking to them about lots of stuff that have nothing to do with work. They are really nice gals, but it takes me a long time to make friends and haven't really made that connection with them as yet. I'm struggling whether to invite them to the wedding or not since I am only inviting family and really close friends (have known for 5+ years). But I feel weird not inviting them cause they are the only ones I have to talk to about all of this stuff. Any thoughts?

That's a great way to make it simple. I want to invite everyone to the wedding but I know not everyone can make it and I want them to know up front that they will have another option. I'm not worried about discouraging anyone from attending the Mexico ceremony because as long as myself and the FI are there, I'm happy. Just trying to minimize the comments about not being able to attend the ceremony in Mexico upfront and still not confuse folks.

This thread has been inactive lately but wondering if anyone's still struggling with this topic? Does anyone have examples of how they announced the AHR on their STD?
