TA or Not... I read a lot of reports on Trip Advisory where TA’s promised things that resort didn’t follow through on. I get a tad bit anal when dealing with multiple people, “He Said” “She Said”. I like dealing straight with the resorts. It allows me to fully understand where things are at. However with that being said.... My wedding is going to be rather simple in regards to the fact that everyone is flying in and out of the same airports. So the booking shouldn’t be that complex. With Aventure Cove the hotel is setting me up with a private link that guests can link through and book. This way everyone will be tracked under my name and I can see who is booked. I really see no need for a TA for my situation. Now if I was having a rather large international wedding I would going through a TA strictly because I do not know the rules and regulations of multi countries.

Hi Ladies, I have officially booked the Aventure Cove for February 18th 2011 at 4PM. I have also booked Vincent from Del Sol For the night. I am looking at about 40people. CANT WAIT!

Hmm... Well thanks so much for posting your question. I must live under a rock in Wisconsin because I have never heard about doing this before today. I think its a wonderful idea. Do they have professional photographers that specialize in this all over? Or just in Trendy place like LA and Miami. Probably in Chicago and thats near by. Someone said they did theirs on there destination wedding. That wouldnt be a bad idea if they had a good photogapher in the Cancun Area.

well if your gonna have a breakdown on something, at least it was on something that turned out to be of the highest level of quality..Absolutly amazing.

Awsome idea with adding the dress code. I have read a lot of trip advisory reports were people get made when they are told by the hotel staff that they can't wear swim trunks into to a certain restraunt. Great way to eliminate that frustration.

Amy, When is your wedding? I am going with the Amethyst Rose collection.It seems to come with a lot of nice stuff. It was the fireworks, horse and buggy and packages that really turned me onto ASP

Nam or anyone else that has had Del Sol - I know you had Del Sol. I believe you had Vincint and Sol. Did you book both or Did one just show up? I was wondering how they decide who you photogher's assistant is. Did you meet with them the day before the wedding to go over stuf Has anyone booked the marachi band at ASP? Is it worth the money? Also how are the fireworks?

Book the resort today and gave them my downpayment today! The weeding is on Feb. 18th at 4PM 2011.....Looking to have about 45people at the wedding. So I am really gonna try for the 75night / free event thing. Also booked DEL SOL, Vincent for 4 hours. I just cant wait. cant wait cant wait....

Hi Nam, Your photos inspired me to book Del Sol for my wedding at the Aventure Spa. They are just amazing. Your photos capture so much emotion. I think we are booking Vincent.

Thanks for all the great words. I have already found a photographer on this site, and am using the Boarding pass idea for the STD's. I really hate reinventing the wheel, so this is amazing.
