I'm hoping Krys is around and can keep me abreast of everything going on, on the island. I am crossing my fingers and praying that this storm doesn't do damage to T&C. I have been unable to reach Diane so far. I tried sending emails, Monday, yesterday and today...nothing. Not sure if internet service is down on the island or having any problems. We have been having heavy rains here in Miami so I can only imagine they have been having lots of bad weather as well. I'm worried!

I put all 24 of the white candles on my digital scale and all together they weigh 4 pounds

As many of you ladies know I went on a shopping frenzy throughout my planning process. Now that I am all packed up I am selling some favors I had initially bought but have absolutely no room for in my luggage (I have two checked bags, two 25gallon rubbermaids and my carry-on and dress). My loss is your gain. I have 24 pink rose ball candle favors and 24 white. I will be selling them for $1/each (not including shipping). They are absolutely adorable and smell really good. They can be used as favors or if they match your colors for your wedding why not use them on your tables at your reception instead of boring old tea lights, they'll add elegance and a great garden smell to the table.

Hi greysgirl, yes I am super excited!! I have everything packed and I am ready to go. I have been shopping within these last few days for honeymoon attire and finalizing things for that. How did you get permission to take your photographer? Just wondering since even when we were considering Gansevoort we were told we couldn't bring our own photographer as vendors coming on the island need to have a work permit from the government to shoot or perform other such duties. Is Teresa handling your wedding? She handles all the weddings at Gansevoort? She got your photographer cleared with management at the resort? Just wondering if the rules have changed. Its actually a rule of thumb at all the hotels on the island but if the rule has changed that would be good info for future brides. Good luck with your engagement shoot and all your planning!
