I am having my wedding at Cancun Palace and I have already gotten (2) seperate refunds ..one for the civil ceremony that I decided not to have (symbolic instead)..and the second for the room nights I booked initally to hold the room block but later decided to buy from a member so got a few nights back...pm me if you would like the name of my contact in Miami, she is great!

Yes, I did a hair and makeup trail when I did a site visit and i didn't like it at all. Also, the makeup they used would not last in the heat.

Can anyone reccomend someone who is comaprable to Fernando, but a little less expensive? I have 6 bridesmaids and I am paying for their hair and makeup so Fernando is a little high, but he does great work.

I was going to go with octavio, but instead I just booked Ivan Luckie!! I love his work! And he is such a nice guy!! IMO he's worth the extra money.

Hi Alisha  how many guests did you have? Did you have the plated dinner? I am getting married at the Cancun Palace and having my reception on the beach, so I have to have buffet.

Also, if you book your room through a member, the member gets 20% off the wedding package.

Hi Melissa  I have a bunch of pictures and a brochure of locations for events at the Cancun Palace. I can't upload all the pics up here, but if you want to private message me your email, I can share my pictures.  I'm sure the Sky Terrace gets windy, but probably not until 7/8. We were up there at 6pm and it was not windy.

I am getting married July 2011 at the Cancun Palace. I just went down to Cancun Palace for 6 days for a visit and there were 2 weddings while I was there. The other one was the Amber collection, I'll post pics later. I am doing the free package also.

I am using the free wedding package because none of the colors they offer match my bridesmaids and I actually think white looks better and I am just going to add color with flowers on the huppa and in the isle. here are two pics from a wedding when I was down there..this is VERY plain

The visit was really good! We stayed at the Cancun Palace and had a great ocean view! Really like the Cancun Palace for a wedding, not so much for a regular vacation. I like smaller hotels usually, but perfect atmosphere for a wedding. We went to Sun Palace for dinner one night (stayed there last year) and loved it! The Sun Palace food was definately better than the Cancun Palace, probabaly bc of how much bigger the CP is and all of the kids. We also went to Isla Mujeras Palace for the day, very nice/relaxing/small. We went to the Beach Palace for the day. I didn't like the BP as much as the CP. Just my opinion. I am also having a large wedding, and the BP looked a little crowded to me, but would probably be good for a smaller wedding. I have a lot of pics of CP and BP if anyone is interested let me know.

Hi Everyone I am going to the Cancun Palace July 28 for 6 days and am going to meet with the wedding coordinator and go over things. Please let me know if you want me to get any specific questions answered while I'm there and I'll share all my info when I return. My wedding isn't until July 2011 so I wonder what they're going to show me.
