  1. I have fallen in love with these 22oz stadium cups. Its the designs that are so cute. This website has great stuff if price is less of an issue... Wedding Favors and Gifts
  2. All are cute but agreed, #1 is the most gender neutral and gives them the picture of the beach to get excited about (neat idea!)
  3. So far our bags have ---shell bottle stopper (not personalized)- this is the favor to be in your drawer at home forever. --- sun lotion (its much more expensive on an island and dollaer tree had high spf for $1 each recently) --- disposable camera (we got refurbished ones off of the knot for cheap) --- small candle in a tin with personalized matches (there are lots of couples coming with us and I thought a romantic all inclusive maybe some magic might be made (oriental trading and the knot) --- engraved fans (I just love these, I read that someones group used the a lot- to be honest I just think they are so dainty and cute) (the knot) --- motrin/emergen-c/bug wipes (for hangovers and bug repellent) (amazon) --- bubbles (knot) --- palm tree pens (oriental trading) --- planning on making up a little booklet with sudoku, wedding and football (we r getting married superbowl weekend and I am marrying a sports junkie), Jamaican Patios translations ---beach toy goodie bags for the kids (we will have 10 with us- got lots of fun stuff off of oriental trading) --- playing cards (beach monkey themed, oriental trading they were cheap) We made CDs of reggae music for all of the guests that will get sent out a few weeks before we leave, along with an itinerary etc. Still considering pashimas, little bottles of jamaican rum, and am planning on getting some stadium cups for everyone, including for the guests at home. Food is not needed for us as we at an AI. BM and MOH will have first aid kits for sunburn etc. Also making a phone tree for just in case we need to contact everyone while we are there (63? guests so far) I havent put it all together yet, the total is up to about $350 for 34 bags. (without the stadium cups which will be $$)... hoping they look adequate.

I am going to iron on something to each bag

I am in love with a website called TheFind - Shopped & Found A search for starfish cuff links yielded 110 results (from 43 online stores) ranging in price from $10-$2600. I am sure you can find what you are looking for there. Alison
  6. I found another cheap tote site, canvas bags and they also sell iron on printer paper for making your own labels.... someone on this BDW forum (dont remember who) directed me towards them ... they are 99c for natural canvas ones (super cute, arrived yesterday)- and have others for even cheaper. They arrived promptly and I dont think there is a minimum. Promotional tote bags custom sizes and styles from cheap totes now with t-shirts and screen printing
  7. Makes me feel better to know that other people have the same issues. Sorry bout your creepy uncle
  8. Speaking of weight loss, who is dieting and any bright ideas about how to stay motivated? I realized yesterday that we have 3 months (today less!) until the wedding and I would really like to lose 15lbs and I am good for a few days and then fall off of the wagon again... my FI doesnt seem concerned but I REALLY want to look my best wearing that pretty dress etc... not to mention laying out on the beach! Any suggestions? I have seen that some of the girls on here have lost stacks of lbs!! ALison

Thanks Ms.Tiff Hey Ms. Tiff I looked at the drop down for Destination weddings (Caribbean) and started looking at the lower end price range folks. I contacted a few and offered to pay for room/board if they pay for airfare. These guys are expensive but the pictures last forever (unlike most parts of the wedding) and their samples are great. Another way that we cut cost is by asking for only one wedding album- this way we get the disc of photos, and I can at a later time go to either kodak or a special wedding album site and put an album together at a lesser cost. I hope that helps? Crazy how much money everything costs eh? We set ourselves an overall limit and are working within that and I have tried to forget that this could pay the mortgage, how many times??
  11. Hi, welcome to the forum! Thats exciting that you are eloping, make sure you take pictures to share with everyone! Hope your day is just what you wish for
  12. we have a similar issue with a gf of one of my FIs best friends... we haven't wed yet to know how it will turn out, but after much agonizing couldn't think of a way to have the wedding without inviting her. My FI really wants his friend there so shes in... We thought of eloping for that reason (but decided against) My dad and several other family members will be on guard for outbursts... Bottom line is it is your day (like everyone says, right?)
