We just returned from Cabo last week... and we also selected Cabo del Sol for our ceremony/reception site. We will have the ceremony at the Meadows as well... haven't decided on the rock or cactus backdrop. :-) We are planning to return in March for the tasting. Your pictures look amazing... so I can't wait! You forgot to mention the amazing bride room! :-) Seriously - that sealed the deal when i saw that!!!!! I also loved the idea that they only do one event per night, and we will be completly private. Our wedding is in July... so the a/c option is a plus as well. The weather was amazing last week with the breeze blowing across the veranda... not sure we will have that cool breeze in July.... good luck with your planning!

I just returned from a site visit to Cabo last week -- planning my July wedding. We stayed at the Hilton - The Hilton's beach connects with the Melia Cabo Real beach. We noted a significant change in sand texture when walking from the Hilton beach across the Melia Cabo beach. The Melia Cabo was very rocky... I was barefoot and had a difficult time. Near the water, the sand is more smooth. But as you can see from pictures, the sandy part of the two beaches are fairly large areas. The Hilton's sand was much finer and i didn't have a difficult time on that sand. Hope this information helps!

I just returned from Cabo last week. Spent a long week meeting with vendors and selecting our site. Wanted to share my favorites with you... Baja Weddings: We are working with Gaby and Baja Weddings. I can't tell you enough how wonderful she is... and what a great time we had last week! She is so organized and met all of our requests perfectly! She spent two full days showing us all around Cabo... meeting vendors... selecting our sites, etc. My experience has been nothing but completely positive with Gaby! My fiancé' even has a great time, and that's saying alot! :-) Photographer - Alec & T: We met with three photographers. Alec & T were hands down our favorite! I did alot of research on photographers prior to our trip and Alec & T were at the top of my list for sure! And meeting with T only confirmed they were perfect for us. T has the most amazing energy... you can just feel her joy and excitement when you talk to her. When you book with this team, you actually get two professional photographers - both with their own unique way of capturing our special day. I would highly recommend this team of photographers...and well, their photos speak for themselves... absolutely amazing! I will be sure to forward my pics after the big day!

I'm getting married in Cabo -- July 17, 2010. Going on a site visit Dec 9-14th... looking at Sunset Mona Lisa and Hilton to start. Working with Baja Weddings.

After much research, we have selected Cabo as our location... July 17, 2010. We are planning a site visit to Cabo Dec 9-14, 2009. Looking seriously at Sunset Da Mona Lisa, however, my fiance' really loves the Hilton. We are also looking to work with Baja Weddings as our WC. Any information/advice is sure welcomed! My fiance' and I are both 40 and second marriages... so we are looking for something smaller and more intimate. Great to meet everyone!!! Kristin
