  1. I apply it once a week. Â I have read that one bottle should last approx one month - but that depends on if you apply it all over your body or just your legs, shoulders and arms. I am really impressed with the tan it gives so I am glad I ordered many bottles.
  2. My bottle says "moriz" but on ebay the sellers sometimes spell it with a 't'.
  3. A thought that just crossed my mind and I thought I would share. Â I read a forum post a few months ago that a bride's hair was really dirty/oily when she went to the resort spa for her wedding updo (thinking the salon was going to wash it before they started the updo). They don't wash your hair before hand! Â So note to self: Make sure your hair is clean - preferably from the day before as slightly dirty hair is easier to style (or so my hairdresser told me). Â Hope this info helps.
  4. Yes, thank GAWD we are on the home stretch! I have been planning this wedding for the last 15 months so it is hard to believe it is right around the corner. Â I just booked my dress fitting with a local Bridal dress designer and seamstress. The alteration hours at the wedding salon where I bought my dress were crazy (Wed - Fri 10am - 5pm). My sister-in-law who is tying my corset and doing the bussle lives an hour away and I hate to ask her to take a day off work to come learn how to tie the corset and bussle the back. Anyway, the local dress designer will work with me pretty much anytime I need - which is a God send. Â I also found Spanish Dictionary at Chapters (in Waterloo) for $1. Yes, you read that right! It is regularly $20 but I guess they are blowing them out. So i bought one book for each couple as a wedding favor! Yipppee!
  5. I am wearing hanging pearl earrings and bracelet for my wedding. IMHO, they show up in pictures much better than crystals.
  6. QUINOA QUINOA QUINOA! I found an awesome new quinoa cookbook called "Quinoa 365: The Everyday Super Food". It rocks...you should really check it out!
  7. How long does the whitening last? I am so excited to find this product!
  8. I am using St Moriz mousse and it is FANTASTIC and cheap. My fiance is so impressed with it he wanted me to start using it on him. I buy it off ebay.
  9. I am trashing my wedding dress. Even though I LOVE LOVE LOVE my dress, I will never wear it again so what am I going to do with it? A friend of mine was married in DR and said her dress come out perfectly clean after the TTD session (she stepped into the pool to wash the sand off herself - which is probably what washed the dress clean). So the odds are that I will still have a clean dress after the TTD session but if I don't, I don't care. I want my TTD photos to be me wearing the original dress (because I love it so much). But hey, that's my preference.
  10. I didn't get swatches. I took a chance as my dress is in 'light gold' which is really a dark ivory. In my opinion, the blue in your purse would not have to be identical to your outfit/accessories. But if you want them to come close to matching you could get the swatches.
  11. I have purse 2 & 3 in ivory with gold. I love it!
  12. YAAAAA! You found a another great dress! That is awesome! I will keep my fingers crossed for you to get a full refund.
  13. Thanks for the Travellers Chq advice. I hate to use credit cards as they always put the exchange rate heavily in their favor. Maybe I should accept it for what it is as I don't want to take a huge amount of cash with me.
  14. Did anyone use Travellers Cheques? I am nervous about bringing up a lot of US cash...I will definitely bring lots of $1 for tipping though.
  15. I am in Waterloo and am getting married at the Majestic Colonial on Oct 19th, 2010.
  16. I agree with what someone posted earlier. It was the factory that went out of business - so you can't really blame the bridal shop. How were they to know? The alterations can add up pretty quickly so I think that the bridal shop was being fair by paying for the alterations - especially if they are changing the dress by 2 sizes. Also, I have been told the seamstresses can work magic. I am sure they will do a great job on altering the dress if that is what you decide. Best of luck to you!
  17. Great stuff ladies! I love ETSY!
  18. Wow Tara! It sounds like you had an awesome wedding! The pics are fantastic! May I ask how much Pastor York cost? As well, what forms of payment does the Jelly Fish take as I am considering changing my wedding to that location?
  19. WOW! I am so sorry for your loss! My thoughts are with you and your family.
  20. No problem. Glad I could help. It is a hit or miss with email response. Sometimes they respond quickly and sometimes not.
