I had read a suggestion on this forum to tip half the amount to your WC when you first meet her at the resort (motivation for her to go above and beyond) and then the remainder of the tip after the wedding (when you know that everything was a success). I think that this is what we will do/

Engaged at 8 years......will be married at 9 1/2. But definitely worth the wait!

LOVE Canada! Can't say that I have been very far east, but plan to do so in the future. My FI and I are both from Medicine Hat, Alberta. We moved away for years, but are back home and LOVING it! Plan to buy a lot of my wedding stuff in Calgary, so if anyone has a favorite store.....please share!

We are booking Erick with Claudia Rodriguez photography (Claudia is already taken) and was wondering if anyone has feedback on him?? I have seen his work on the website and it looks great.....just hoping that he is relaxed and fun to work with.

Glad you brought up this question....... I plan to wear my dress the entire night, but am unsure if I should have a different dress for our AHR. Any thoughts?

Hey ladies, We are getting married February 18, 2010! We have yet to arrange anything other than our flights and resort. I haven't even sent out invites for our DW. YIKES....... We just finalized our date yesterday, so now we need to get down to business. I hear that wedding dresses can take months to get in, so that is next on my list. I am super excited to organize the details over the next 5 months!

I have sent Claudia an email in hopes to book her for our wedding. She seems extremely talented! Does anyone know any information about the videographer that Claudia's website links you to? We would like a video, but am wondering how long it takes to receive it after the wedding.

Hey ladies, I wanted to add a post now that I can say "We are officially getting married at the GBP Tulum on February 18th, 2010!" I know that it has been said numerous times.....but I am soooooo thankful to have found this forum. All of your questions and comments have made our planning much easier and super exciting. Hi everyone! My name is TeNeil and I am planning our wedding for February 2010 in Jamaica. My fiance and I have yet to choose a resort, so we are looking for any advice that you are willing to share.
