Great dress! I would have loved to wear that dress as a bridesmaid.

My FI and I don't know where he should sleep the night before our wedding. One part of us thinks that we should just stay together in our own room at the resort and then go our separate ways the morning of the wedding (We have lived together for almost 9 years.) The other part of us thinks that we should be somewhat traditional and have him sleep elsewhere. The only problem is that all of our guests are couples, so who would he stay with? I am curious as to what everyone else is doing.......please fill me in!

I am now wondering what we do with my FI ring during the ceremony. We aren't having a ring bearer or wedding party. Any ideas?

I received the EXACT email from the resort. I am quite frustrated because I booked Claudia before I ever heard of the resort changing their policy.......I feel that the resort should have to allow outside vendors that are already booked (and paid for!) and then set a date where they will enforce their new policy. I have no problem using the resort photographer, but don't think they can commit to having our video by our AHR.......Claudia did guarantee our video by this time. Hoepfully if we all keep asking questions (and unfortunately make this difficult for them) they will break and let us keep our vendors.

I think that your dress is stunning! Looks great on your tiny figure. I also love the flower right where it is.......adds a unique and sexy touch to the dress. I say "Buy it!"

I too have booked Claudia R. for our photos and video without knowing anything about the new resort policy. I have been emailing the my WC and the resort photographer, but haven't received an answer. I will be quite upset with the resort if they don't allow us to have Claudia.....seeing as we have placed a $200 deposit and the resort never said that it wasn't allowed. If anyone receives an actual answer, please pass on the message. Thanks!

We are flying Air Canada.....not getting much for perks. FI and I get upgraded flight to first class......and thats it. The resort is going to upgrade our room if available. It sounds like others are getting great deals, but I had no idea this was possible. Oh well.....too late now.

Your cake looks great! I can totally understand how the cake included in your resort package needed a boost. My FI and I actually started laughing when we got cake pics emailed to us. Has anyone done a similar thing, but used fresh flowers from the resort? I was planning on doing this to add some flare to our cake.

Amazing how some people turn "your" wedding into their business. Its too bad that they can't just be happy for the bride and groom......and politely decline the invite if they aren't interested or can't afford it. I can relate because my FIL's aren't coming.....they can absolutley afford it......but don't like Mexico......and don't really want to fly. We are just accepting their decision and know that one day they might regret not being apart of our amazing day. Good luck with everything!

I see that your wedding date isn't until May, so I wouldn't even worry about it right now. I just bought my dress for our wedding in February. It won't be here until a few weeks before the wedding, but that will give me just enough time. In my opinion, if you aren't "feeling" a dress yet, then hold off and look in a month or two. I agree that marrying your best friend is the most imporant part, but you also want to feel gorgeous walking down the aisle. I say hold off for now and then start fresh. Just make sure that you purchase something 4 months before your wedding because that seems to be the average ordering time. Good luck....and try to enjoy the shopping experience!

After dinner we are planning on going to the disco with our family and friends. There will only be about 15 of us, so we didn't see the point in renting a dj or poolside reception. I'm sure we will meet some new people and party the night away!!

When we decided on a DW we knew that there was no guarantee that everyone or anyone will join us. My FI's parents aren't coming, but that is their choice. Ultimately we would love to have everyone there, but we want a DW and after all it is our day. I hope that it all works out for you....and you never know, maybe your mom will come after all is planned.

Those shoes are great! I too love bows. Is anyone thinking of wearing colored shoes? I am thinking of a color so that I will wear my shoes again, but am unsure of what color. Any ideas?
