  1. I think I'm going with something simple and cute like: _______ & _________ invite you to dig your toes in the sand and take in the view as we join in marriage and say I DO!
  2. snoopash i love the pics of you guys as children and all your different pages...very personal and cute!
  3. Our website is Barb & Les - wedding website by mywedding.com ...it's certainly not an exotic location but it's on the beach and just close enough to keep the family happy...exotic locales would have caused too many complaints (though I'm a little jealous of all you girls) And here's our save the date (We'll this was the first preview of it, it's a little different...It just says Barb & Les instead of Barbara & Leslie and that's in yellow and it has Save the Date: May 15, 2010, and our wedding website at the bottom also in yellow):
  4. So after much frustration with our photography we finally got our save the dates and e-shoot photos from August! Here are a few pics from our e-shoot: sorry that the bottom pic is so big...don't know how to make it smaller.
  5. I hope to be on my honeymoon in Costa Rica at that time! Welcome to the forum
  6. i like 3 and 5, but 3 is the most flattering on you. I feel like everyone has it so built up that you're supposed to have a connection with your dress. And you watch shows like say yes to the dress and go out determined to find your soulmate of a dress that will send you to tears. I say find a dress in your budget that you feel beautiful in get it and don't look back. Don't look at another dress or you'll second guess yourself. I think its totally normally to not feel some sort of connection or feel like one is "the" dress. Good Luck!!!!
  7. I couldn't find that one in my quick search (I'm at work and shouldn't be looking at all). But here's a link to a similar dress on light in the box... 2009 Style Ball Gown Sweetheart Court Train Satin Organza Wedding Dresses for Bride (HSX1260) - US$ 149.99 good luck
  8. LOVE! i play lexulous online while FH watches sports eggnog
  9. those look great!!! I'm doing something similar but I used rub on letters and glass paint to decorate.
  10. glad you made a decision, and quickly (i'm very indecisive) be sure to post some pictures when you get the dress!!!
  11. Oh well you've been more than considerate in every other area...unless they have extenuating circumstances (in which case you seem as tho. you'd be more than accomodating) they can certainly pony up the cash to stand next to you on your big day! Now lets see a picture of the dress
  12. It's more than I would want to ask someone especially with the other expenses for the wedding...flight, most likely room (if any of them have s.os they won't be sharing with you - tho. it is definitely nice of you to offer)bacholerette party, bridal shower gift, wedding gift, shoes, hair, nails, makeup...Their your best friends and they'll most likely do whatever you want without complaint (to your face), but I personally think you could find something just as nice for less money. On the other hand, if they're the dresses you have to have maybe you could split the cost with them if its too much for them. if they can afford it all without a problem and you absolutely love them...it's your day and they'll be more than happy to get them for you and you did give them 14 months notice.
  13. I'm doing 10" tall cylinder vases with black sand (my colors are black and blue) a starfish or sand dollar and a floating candle at the top with a couple votives and shells around them. i like the light from the candles and getting most things from dollar tree they're quite cheap.
  14. love apple cider donuts hunted hayrides/house?
  15. Your thread inspired me to do my own when I have more completed. The dance with your dad made me cry. You did an amazing job on everything during what I'm sure wasn't an easy time. You Rock!!
  16. GORGEOUS!!! Bouquets like these make me want pretty pink tropical flowers, but my colors are shades of blue and black.
  17. Bali83...if i go with #2, which seems to be the favorite by a landslide, I'm ordering it from the Wedding Shoppe...only 338 (and free shipping). Finleys7...firstly, my last name is Finley . Secondly, I'm a 34 C/D and my fear with the low plunge isn't so much that I'd be swallowed by it, but that it'd be a hey have you met the girls...here they are - i want to be sexy but not overexposed. Nicole...Dress #1 is Impressions Destiny style 4884 and Dress #2 is Eden Bridals Informal Style 1363...both very affordable at under $400
  18. I actually looked up different bridal fabrics online yesterday in trying to decide whether I could use the dress I want for my ceremony for my TTD without totally ruining it. What I found is that a large number of satins and silks are actually blends. Often of polyester and other man made materials, which make them washable fabrics and ok to get wet. I would ask if the satin they use is stiff or more flowing, and perhaps do a satin bottom with a chiffon overlay. Bridal fabrics and laces Good luck.
  19. While I think the style of dress one is slimming I think that #2 just has so much more pizazz. It's absolutely gorgeous and looks fantastic on you!!! #2 gets my vote
