OMG YES! I feel SO akward about having a shower. My fiance's brother and his wife got married last year in Antigua and she did not have a shower. So now we are getting married the Dominican Republic and my family wants to throw me a shower. I just feel like I shouldn't have one because she didn't. But in our family the aunt always throws a shower and my aunt is not coming to the wedding and neither is a lot of my family, so they think of it as a way to celebrate with me since they can't come. I just feel weird about them inviting my fiance's family to it since they didn't do one for his brother's wife.

Guys are so silly like that. When I got engaged, I could not wait to ask my sister and friends to be my MOH and bridesmaids. Guys just seem to feel awkward asking for some reason or other. My fiance was the same way. He didn't want to ask his guys right away and did it on his own time when the situation felt right I guess. When my sister got married, the same thing with her husband. He didn't ask any of his groomsmen until one night when everyone who they had planned to be in their wedding party were hanging out, he was like, well the whole wedding party is here. And the guys were like, um, okay so I guess we're groomsmen. Must just be a guy thing that us girls don't get!

Mine just came in last weekend after being ordered in September and needs major alterations because they ordered the wrong size. Not saying this will happen to you but just make sure you get it in time to do a few alterations if necessary!

I called them again today and was told I would be called back in 10 minutes. NO CALL. So I went there right after work and they started measuring me again and asked if lost weight. Well there was no way to deny it, they ordered the wrong size. They are going to pay for the alterations. Still frustrated but a little relieved finally!
