we did ours at check in. we had everyone's flight schedule and we emailed them our room number in case we couldn't get down to the lobby, but we tried to greet guests in the lobby when they checked in and handed out bags.

There's nothing to negotiate, if you have a group contract it should be written into the group contract. OK so, I had the old deluxe package and they were included. I think there were 5 so i think it was the band. They played for people walking down the aisle, when I arrived, during the toast and then at the end. My husband really wanted them, at first I didn't but it was important to him so I gave in. Try to get a package where it's included. I mean it was a nice thing to have and we'll always remember it. Lily was awesome, she got everything perfect, I was impressed. Make sure you get anything comped (if you have a certain # of guests) BEFORE you leave the resort. They will try to tell you central office in Miami needs to do it, but they can apply the amount towards your hotel bill. They have a business office in Nizuc so make sure you talk to them before you leave.

Hi all, you can google ms word receipt templates. The limit is $300 so please watch what you bring. We got a green light and they still checked the bags so that light system is not a good indicator if you will or won't get checked. I was grilled about my stuff and thank god I had the receipts or some customs official would be enjoying my beach bags and bath salts right now.

We mixed and matched. You can take things off of every menu. Don't let them tell you you can't. All the food comes from the same place so they can do whatever you want.

I was trying to upload my pictures but this forum won't let jpeg's be uploaded and when i converted it to a bmp the file size was too large. This forum is not very user friendly for uploading anything. There was one bride in the reviews section that had a ton of pics of the Caribbean restaurant though.

the room was perfect size-wise. It is the only ballroom with any outside view and there is ocean view though the pools are in front of the ocean.

Sandra- Yes there is a microphone, the set up is actually nice. I just had my ipod. You can hook up the laptop but make sure you bring connections and ask them what ones you need (if you look at the equipment rental spreadsheet thing your WC should have sent you it tells you exactly what the system is so you can google it and figure out what connections you need) They do provide the connections but better safe than sorry, ask Tina. Don't know about the ceremony, we had live music. I had my hair and makeup done by a man @ the Golf Spa, it came out awesome. Unfortunately, I can't remember who did it. Be sure to bring a picture! If you don't, they won't know what to do and it will turn out like an 80's prom do. Read my review for more info on hair and make-up

Jodi, prices are always going to be a few bucks cheaper online, but since you have a group contract, you get all those events if you book a certain amount of people. Do you think it's all free? Of course not, they hide the fee somewhere, which is why the group rates are all about $10-$20/night more expensive. As for the airfare, if your TA can't get bulk air herself, find someone who can.

75 room nights for unlimited free private functions and your 7 nights free, it includes your nights (so if you book 7 and that's part of the 75, if you reach say 78 rooms, they don't deduct yours, they count towards the total. Not sure about the other pkgs, i was focused on getting this one from the beginning!

be prepared to put your purse in your roller carry-on, you are allowed one carry on and one personal item. The purse and laptop are considered personal items. They will forgive the dress as extra but don't push it with the other stuff. We put my dress and his suit in a garment bag

Tina- I have been having issues with walgreens doing prints, they harass me each time asking for a release and then I tell them it was done in Mexico and we own the pictures and we go through this whole thing. Have you encountered this and how can I do the prints without having to give my life story each time?

I paid $820 to upgrade my package. We had more than enough pictures and he threw in some black and whites. I gave him a nice tip before I left and before he finished processing the pictures so I think that helped give us so many pictures.
