I just got info from DJ Mannia...they can bring a dance floor...if I add the DJ and floor it costs about the same as privatizing the restaurant without the DJ and using our ipod. Any opinions on DJ Mannia?

I did the luggage tag business cards. I'm hoping for a deal on the brochures so I can send the guests a before you go informational. I love some of the ideas you gals have!!

Hi! I had the same problem when I first chose my site. I ended up changing to Grand Palladium because they include dinner in the package, no per head fees. My suggestion is to see how many you have going to the wedding...I did a preliminary count of definites (like family) and did my calculations, etc. You have some time. I know it feels like you got to figure it all out now, but take your time and really research all your options. This site is a god send in helping you make choices! Good luck!

Where are you getting married? Your wedding coordinator should definitely have information. Be careful buying cigars from the outside "vendors", we got some bad ones last year. Stick to places that are only recommended. Good luck!

Mare, those shoes are hot! I'm sorry they don't come in blue. Have you tried DSW? They do have some blue shoes right now with bling. That's where I found mine, which btw were half the price of what they are selling for online!

So I have a few more questions that hopefully someone knows the answer too. Kenia (the WC assistant) sent me the 2010 ROV packages since 2011 isn't out yet. 2. How do you reserve your date and time? Since its a ROV can we just have it any time we want? I don't know if a judge does the ROV or if the WC does. Anyone know? I am thinking 5-6pm is best but I really don't know how it works. I would definitely suggest checking out Pastor York for the renewal of vows. We have hired him and he sent us a sample ceremony to work from and it is great! Send him an email if you are interested, he responds quickly and is very kind. Also...if you are not using a judge, my understanding is that the judge only works until 5. So if you want after 5pm then that is usually the easiest time for them to accomodate whatever you want. I originally asked for 2:30 but Carolina said no can do because a judge is doing a ceremony for another couple at that time. So Pastor York said he could come at 6 and Carolina said no problem. 6 it is!

Thanks for posting the pics Tracy! Hope you are feeling well. I keep going back and forth on the beach vs private restaurant reception. We have about 60 people coming now. The private restaurant costs $1000. This allows us the restaurant from 6pm-midnight. I wasn't thinking about the beach BBQ until you posted how great it was. The pictures look great, but I see you dancing in the sand. We are a bunch of dancers...salsa dancers. Which is how my FI and I met...in dance class! So now I don't know if the beach would really work. hmmmm.

Sapphire723 omg! Funny story. He was at a birthday party so I took the Bass with me. When I was finished, I had to put the strap back on...forgot how it went. Went to put it in the bag...forgot how it went. Came home and left it in the front room since I passed out on the couch once I touched it. First thing he noticed when he came home of course. lol.
