  1. Thank you ladies! I'm happy to give some hope and to share my story with others that have similar FI support! It does make you smile and helps both enjoy the planning process.

We also bought the guys white leather kenneth cole sandals at the outlet.. I personally love them! The only prob is the FI cant fit into the EXPRESS MENS shirts so we have to have his tailor custom make his shirt!! Good work! I need to shop with you!
  3. lol. Thanks again for all the kind compliments! My sister made a point, as we approach our 40s, I did and she will do a BD shoot and look back on it when we're 65 and say, damn we were pretty hot! lol.

We are a week apart so I am hoping it will be soon!

Since I ordered the printed book instead of just photos in an album, she got mine done pretty quick, I think it was about 2.5 weeks. But only because the printing of my album takes about a month and I need it by end of June/early July Shoot her a little email about how you saw some of Dinah's pics and can't wait to see yours Maybe she'll send you some teasers? I can't wait to get Preggers and shoot with her again. lol

I was happy...so I'll stick with that for both. Our TTD is 2 days later at Dreams! I'm so excited - how long was yours? We only have an hour, but it should be fine -- and we added another hour to our ceremony (so 3 now instead of 2!) It will be less rushed! Carolina emailed me today -- SHE' BACCK!! she wants my guest names, do you know why? I sent them but I'm just curious! p.s. thanks about the bed comforter haha - it's so hard to take pics of yourself! all awkward and stuff! I loooove your dress!! Can you tell me what email Carolina is using...I have 2 but they both kicked back to me. Thanks!!
  7. I've been following your story and glad to see the bouquet turned out soo much nicer. Thank goodness! You're big day is tomorrow!! Congratulations!!
  8. It sounds like you have a good plan with adding your colors to the first one when you paste it to the invites...so I think that #1 is a good choice. But I do like both. Nice work. Maybe you can use both? Since one is day and the other is night...Good luck!
  9. Congratulations! I actually initially planned on a cruise from NY as well. But we changed to a DW. I worked with Karen who was awesome and she is a coordinator specifically for Carnival cruises. I definitely think you should speak with her. She's very sweet and usually got back to me very quickly. Destination Weddings, Cruise Ship Wedding, A Wedding For You, Inc. since 1987 Good luck!
  10. He proposed and she said yes! Wondering where? C'mon, Take a guess! Not June nor July, but the cold month of January. Where we go, there's no snow, just bright and airy! Sunny and hot, we promise you that! No need for a parka, boots, or hat! Do you think you know? Do you have a clue? We're going to Jamaica mon! We hope you can too! Remember it's January, so you've got a bit of a wait. We're gonna have an amazing time so be sure to save the date! Then add your names and the wedding date. Hope I helped you some! This was such a cute idea, your guests will love it!
  11. Awesome. I know...I've finally become obsessed with all the planning. lol. Either researching the BDW site or working on DIY projects. Just purchased the groomsmen outfits and FI's seersucker suit (which we are not sure of yet, but we will see when it arrives). Little by little. I'm thinking of breaking out the suitcases and start packing anything that I complete. Did anyone do this?
  12. Yeah, I wish they had some on website. I'm hunting again tomorrow at another michaels.
  13. I just purchased my GM pants from Jos A Banks (60% off today) just plain front khakis and their shirts are linen from Islandimporter.com, they won't be wearing ties. FI was going to wear the same as groomsmen with maybe a jacket, but then I found a seersucker suit on Jos A Banks. We didn't want to spend $200 on his suit, but honestly, I think it will be nice to have him stand out from the groomsmen. So I'm hoping it fits well.
  14. Chris, I think your band is gorgeous and looks PERFECT with your E-ring! Congrats on the great find. I was sooo bummed because I had my wedding band (which is a wrap) custom made in Brooklyn and it was suppose to be ready on Sunday but it wasn't and she promised me that I can pick it up tomorrow. I totally can't wait to wear it! I laughed when I saw you girls are doing the same thing I intend to do and wear it to work and around the house. I can't wait!
  15. Wow Lolita, that dress is stunning! You will look beautiful in it!
  16. Beachbum. You said you did the private dinner reception and the beach reception? How many guests did you have? Arrecife looks nice too, I was thinking La Uva...??

We scored on the guys outfits...for less than $50 a guy! Hi! Where did you get the guys pants??

I do think a lighter suit would have looked sharp but I know my husband and our groomsmen would have been uncomfortable and with getting married away, I was pretty relaxed about the whole thing. Good luck with your decision. Can you tell me where their shoes are from?? Thanks!
  19. I am using the white finger star fish. I will be standing them up in a pan with sand for the reception. I've ordered tags off of Etsy which include a ribbon. There are a lot of great tag finds there which I believe between ink and time costs about the same as DIY.
  20. I actually found the silver/bronze ones and then found some plastic ones with designs on them and they cost one cent!! yes, one cent! lol. awesome
  21. I love this thread and coming back to look at all the pretty dresses!
