Oh ya that would def work! that size is perfect. It is 7 to a table at most you can do 8 but after that I gets really tight. So you would have 6 tables. I think you will really like that spot. Everything is lit up and you could save some money and use the actualy gazebo as the dance floor! You will have the ocean view as well.

Any help from the ladies who did site visits would be great!!! Also, does anyone know the max number of people that can sit inside the gazebo comfortably? Thanks for the help! I tried to email the WC in michigan but you know how that goes... Hi Speedy, How many people are you having? I do have pics but I can't load them right now since I am at work I will uplaod them tomorrow morning. I think the terrace is a really nice spot, where are you doing your ceremony? If you go with the garden I would go with the garden by the gazebo because it is more private. The other one is right in the middle of the resort and all the guests have to walk by to get to the restaurants and the pool and beach. Depending on how many guests you have I think the terrace is a great choice. Plus you can wear heels because in the garden you def have to do flats or wedge (you will sink right into the ground)

Hi I am getting in 2010 but when I was looking in 2009 rates did not very that much from 2010. What month are you looking for? January is really expensive compared to other months so some ties rates can really vary depending on the month your looking into.

  9. Hi Ladies, I know we talked about this back a few posts and I can't remember who posted it but someone is using a honeymoon registry that is free, would you mind posting that site name again? Also what are you ladies doing with the ring bearer during the ceremony? Are going to have him sit or stand up with the other grooms men?
  10. Hi Beachbum - I am using Fernando for hair and makeup, he is in Cancun and travels to PDC and also brings a hair person with him. Here is his e-mail [email protected]. His work is awsome but he is on the pricer side. Here is an exmaple of his work - 11.21.09 Natalia + Justin | Wedding at Aventura Spa Palace | Photos by Sol and Vincent This bride was from this forum and said he was awsome to work with. And here's his website for more examples of this work the-makeup-pros

We got engaged in Playa and I wore my ring everywhere the whole week lol I don't think it will get any negative attention. I saw lots of beautiful bling including at the Tiffany's store which is one block from the Royal I also feel safe since everything is insured. For going to the pool in the beach I would leave it in the safe. That is what I did this last time.
  12. Ya by 4pm they all the crows start to move away to get ready for dinner. 6pm there won't be a soul there in fact by 5pm when we were there in November there was no one there. So you girls are fine.

If I was to do the beach ceremony I would totally do it at the Gran Porto. Their beach was better and more private actually. It will be beautiful regardless. And Lady Di I just saw some really funny pictures with some guys in speedos at a ceremony and you know what it was funny. It is all part of being married in Mexico. IF we all just gow ith the flow we will ahve our perfect days. And as longas we are marrying the man of our dreams no speedo can ruin that lol
  14. msglave - is the included center piece image that you got the one of the glass hurricane? Because that one is included to and it is really nice. It has a nice simple. You get an option of either or I just only have a picture of the luminary candle.
  15. wow those look great!!!!!!!! I did the same thing and insisted on the metallic pocket folders and a textured card stock that is hard to print on. Still working on the final product - it gives me hope that yours came out so good!

Hi Luna, I actually did ask this very question. They give you a candle as a centerpiece with the basic package. I actually think it looks very beautiful. I mean your in a setting where you really do not need much for decoration. You get a choice of a big wax luminary candle or a glass hurricane with a candle in it. The issue I had was with the luminary candle they told me it only comes in orange and not white (I found that hard to believe). I loved the hurricane. I wanted to add the image but I still can't figure it out. Can someone help? I put in the URL from Shutterfly and put around it but the image is still not showing up within my post. Thanks!

Yes the inside is much smaller. The wedding we saw has the bride and groom in the gazebo and all the chairs outside of it. But looking at pictures I would say you can probably get 15-20 on the inside on the gazebo. Not 100 percent sure though.

  20. We chose the gazebo because my opinion it was the most private. When we went on our site visit there was a wedding and they had people blocking it off so no one with their bathing suits could walk through. They also grew these big bushes around it so no one could look in from the beach. Most people are hanging out by the pool and the restaurants and we noticed there was not much activity where the gazebo was. You do have on lookers from their balconies but our not facing them so non of your guests or you will really notice them. Also I am a heels girl so since this is a stone rock way I could rock them .
