  4. To Tammy TA If you have the same rate of $385.00 per couple/night as the MP,then is the Passport also included ? I was also quoted in the same package with the addition of PassPort that children 12 and under -free and 13 and older- $54.00 per night. It also included the transportation to and from airport, 4-5 tours, as well as 25% off golf, spa etc. There were many Buy one/get one free adventures. Is that the same too? I was planning to go directly through the airlines for group rates and planning to add Travel Insurance for all parties on cancellations. I also have the number of rooms or total nights for the bonuses of private parties in the contract. I haven't sign it yet but I am wondering what the difference is between the TA and directly with the hotel. I thought it was better to go directly with the hotel with the contract. The only deposit that is needed is the bride and groom's room payment upfront. Then all other parties can reserve up to 45 days before event. There is a link that they will give you so that it can be posted on the wedding website for individuals to reserve their own rooms at one night's deposit. Our party is planning to stay 3-5 nights.
  5. Yes, I have a rate of $192.00 per person /double occupancy. Which means the total room rate is 385.00 per night for both parties. I got this through MP and I found that the rate was lower than the TA including AAA. The direct MP has many advantages than the TA. The only thing that I have to do is pay for my room as a hold for the other 30 rooms until 45 days before the date. Sorry , the rates depends on the time of year. So you may have the best rate for the time of year that you are going. My wedding date is June 19,2010. That is hurricane season and hot but the rates are lower. I think the fall is also lower. But if you have the winter and spring season, you will pay higher rates/
  6. Hi, I am a bride for June 19,2010 at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun,Mexico. I think that my colors will be orange/turquoise/pink/maybe yellow. Welcome!!! There are a lot of good ideas on this site. I found a nice monogram that I would like to use.
  7. Wow! This is perfect. Just what I was looking for... This helped solidify my choice for MP... My date is June 19,2010 and I have so many ideas on what to do and not to do from your posting. Thank you so very much.... I hope that you and yours are still as happy as the day you wed....
  8. I am so excited... waiting for my date to be confirmed for June 19,2010 at Moon Palace...
  9. I just recently booked with Moon Palace in Cancun. Our date is June 19,2010 and I have already booked the rooms there so I will have a link on our wedding website. I decided to send out invitations instead of save the date because the majority of people should start sending the deposits for the rooms. The only thing that I might send three months before the wedding date is a reminder to pay the full amount if it is not paid in full.
  10. I would say that it would have to be the photography. It is the only thing you have to look at after it is over with.
  11. I am wanting to know if nondenominational services can take place in the chapel. Is there anyone out there besides Catholic that used the chapel at MP??
  12. There is a outside chapel on the resort of Moon Palace in Cancun. It has all the luxuries of being all inclusive.
