  1. I noticed when I was shopping in Buffalo this weekend that VS have quite a few of their suits right in the store, even the ones that you can order online.

Has anyone who is booked around then already told the resort what reception they want? I'm getting married in April and only just within the last 2 weeks sent the resort my choices. It's up to you if you want something specific and want to gurantee it, otherwise the resort doesnt need it yet

I cannot decide if I should go ala carte route or something more private like tha Thai Beach club. Our party will be around 20 people only . Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Margret Hi Margret, I believe the price you were quoted was for the semi private option at the Thai Beach Club, I think you have your choice of beef or fish? As for deciding which to do, thats a personal one since it has a fairly large price tag attached to it. We have decided on Thai Beach Club but as a private reception (after much back and forth) and can send you some pics if you pm me your email address

Firstly, my fiance was employed by them, so now we are down to one salary, and our wedding is in forty-some days. Additionally, we had booked our wedding group through them, for 43 people total. Needless to say, I haven't had much BDW time lately, as we are trying to figure our re-booking everyone through other airlines, for similar prices. It's been a hectic few days. :0( That's horrible new.....talk about stress! I hope everything works out for you
  6. I'm with you on the game(s).......Let's Go Boys!!!!!!!!

  8. Oops sorry Tracy Another option I saw....although it might get pricy, is that in some restaurants - in their washrooms they have vending machines that sell small packs of tylenol, advil etc. As well I know you can get them in small travel tubes.....but I think they sell for a few bucks.

  11. Hey Tracy I know that Dollar Tree sellls 2 packs/$1 (thats where I got mine) - if you ever make it over the border?
  12. Ya I saw that....lol! I think they are adhesives from what I can tell because they have a peel away backing. My problem is going to be trying to load my logo onto the template....I'm severly challenged with that stuff...LOL! __________ Jill
  13. Suzy I beleive that they are the window decals.....a small one is $14.99
  14. Meghan....this is friggen awesome, you just made my day Tracy....good choice! _________ Jill
  15. No I was thinking the exact same thing and I don't live in New York! Not to mention you more than likely will have to pay for day passes to get them on to the resort. But maybe we are wrong.

I would imagine that the weather should be fairly similar to what you get in New Jersey.
  17. My wedding package actually comes with hair & make up but after reading this thread, I'm intrigued about Fernando
  18. So I have a question....might be a dumb one. When it comes to "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue" Do I go out and do that for my self? It's not that I have a problem doing it, it's just that I don't want to if my Mom or wedding party will as well? I don't wanna ask, cause I think it seems rude!

Acouple questions... 1) how expensive was the hotel for your guests? 2) was the wedding packages good, and the corrdinators good? 3) would you reccommend this hotel for a wedding? 4) I heard that the food was the only let down... and comments? Thank you for your help... I booked in May/June 2009 for April 2010 and paid $1305/pp with Sunwing. The thing is Sunwing isn't a tour operator that didn't really do much for the busines....i.e. for every 15 that book 1 is FREE type of thing. As for wedding coordinator patricia has been great so far! And I believe that all of the packages are on their website.
  20. Ya my parent are divorced so each side is having a shower....so it stops at 2....LOL! And I agree on some of the creativeness....I got a gift card for bikini village, 2 beautiful espirit beach towels, and a beach bag....it was lovely! Btw.....nothing wrong with a card for a mani/pedi....I would love that!
  21. I had my first shower yesterday! I have to say it was a tad bit overwhelming......I always thought I would be like "Bring it on!" But than I felt so guilty that all of these women (40+) had all went out, bought me a gift and were spending the afternoon with me. I guess we have all done it....and in the end it was Fantastic. My mom slaved in the kitchen for days making seashell cookies from sctarch as favors and homemade Mexican food to eat. Oh and did I mention I got sooooo spoiled!
  22. Phew.....so I checked with Patricia and she said that they will only divide into the huts (as she called them) if the weather is bad, otherwise they are woutside. Since April has the least rainfall of any month in the Mayan...should be all good
  23. Tracy....the pics are great....you look FAN-FRIGGEN-TASTIC!!!!! _________ Jill
