  1. Hi There! I actually am looking for this dress...saw it at Le Chateau last night and they dont have any sizes. Are these still available?
  2. I have a picture of the Ibiza bar - which is what Patricia has suggested to me as an option for a private after dinner party. I can't seem to upload it though. PM me if you want me to send it through to you.
  3. Hi Ladies, I just received the restaurant menus for the a la carte restaurants and I'm having a really hard time trying to choose where to hold my reception? Especially given the fact that you have to do a set menu for EVERYONE! What are all of you doing?

I got them online from Penners, they were super easy to deal with, and the shirts came from Texas to Edmonton in 5 days. Though some of the shits I ordered (according to their sizing chart) came too big, so order whatever they would normally wear, and not according to the chart. Does anyone know if the beach/beach bar 'closes' at any time? Isn't it feasible that after dinner, we could just go party on the beach?? And not pay $80/person? I just sent you a pm for the info that you have....Thanks
  5. I'm not 100% sure but I think it might be a dinner that you can hold in one of their private banquet rooms?
  6. At most all inclusive resorts the beach bars and pool bars will close down when the sun sets, due the nature of them - so I would expect this resort to be no different. Thats also why they offer it as an add on to your dinner.....$15/pp for domestic drinks.

So I am still waiting for her to get back to me to clarify, but it looks like you choose what you want a la carte style...? Open bar is $15 US per person per hour for domestic and $25 for international. Ridiculous. Oh, and the private beach dinner just jumped up to $85 a head. This may have been the icing on the cake for us, we are starting to look at other venues for the reception, and possibly other hotels to stay at, because it is just going to be too expensive for us to get married here. Too bad because it looks like such and incredible resort! They do offer something called a Gala Dinner. If you send me your email I can email the extras list to you. Good luck!! Llama I just sent you a pm. I can't believe this has gone up to $85/pp for the beach party. My thing is the price for my guests is so reasonable so I'm not sure what to do. We have a quote of $1305/dble occupancy for next April....soooo good! Hmmm maybe I will have to look at the option of having a separate reception on the beach after?
  8. I am somewhat in the same boat! I have just received a great quote for April 2010, but the thing is....its only valid for 7 days - which doesn't give me time to get anything printed! So I think I am going to reach out to everyone via email or phone to get everyone to book and than follow up with a formal invite of some kind that directs people to our website for details. I hope that works!
  9. I am somewhat considering that option, but am worried it would take away from the whole....walking down the aisle, starring into each others eyes....I know cheesy!!!! And if my guests found out they would kill me. With the renewal package, do you still have witnesses sign the marriage license?
  10. Thanks for the quick reply....I have seen that to be the case. But in this situation, the package includes a reception for 20 people and each additional is $10, however its in one of their a la carte restaurants. Has anyone had a beach reception there that knows the answer to my question?
  11. Hello I have recently stumbled across this resort and I love, love, love it. The only concern that I have is the cost for a private beach party reception. From what I understand its $80/pp for 2009.....what I am curious to know is that do you have to pay that on top of a "Package" for $2000? Much Thanks
  12. Oops....I posted to the wrong section...sorry
  13. Did any of you Canadian Brides see the resort featured on "Rich Bride, Poor Bride" on Saturday? After seeing it I am in love. I have a meeting with my TA tomorrow night, can't wait to see what additional information she brings.
  14. I just saw this resort on "Rich Bride, Poor Bride".....I'm in love with it!!!!! Since that show I have put it to the top of my list. I'm curious though...if I go with the option of having my reception dinner in one of the a la cartes, what to do for a reception-party? Any thoughts from past or present Grand Sunset Princess Brides?
  15. I haven't gone through it yet, but have been wondering how I would handle the dilema. I think I would probably include the fact that you're having AHR with details to come. That way your guests have all the options.
