L&C In Love

I do have a website it was on the STD, I don't think its showing in this picture. Its so great to have to update everyone, one thing I'm finding is its hard to get people to check it regularly.

We got all of the groosmen's clothing this weekend for the wedding! Yay, something to check off this list! We got the shirts at Le Chateau and the pants at Coliseum in West Ed. My FI got his suit there too, thank God, I was getting annoyed with him because he procastinated and we couldn't find anything in his size. He is a giant, like super tall, so finding things on a regualr basis is difficult. He just needs to get a shirt and a tie. Â Now all we have to get for the GM is footwear and they seem to all want different things. Surprisingly the guys are kind of being drama cases about what they want to wear, you would think it would be the girls. Â Next stop is Allana's (spelling?) to look for bm dresses and bridal debut for me. I went to Crystals Bridal in the North side on the weekend, nice store and nice staff but very small selection.

  October! Thats crazy, how do they expect people to plan a wedding! This is why I switched to a renewal of the vows. I thought a Mexico wedding would be stress free but I have been finding out recently that is not the case. BUT you are right it will be so worth it when we get there! Â

This is our STD! We are really happy with how they turned out. Our hotel wasn't able to confirm our date in time so he just had to put the month and year. We got them from magentstreet.com, really great company to work with and they sent us an album of sample invitations! We also got return address labels that looked awesome too! Â

Oh p.s I booked Ivan Luckie as our photographer So happy with our choice! He does such great work and has already done a couple of weddings at the Cat!!

She is on holidays I think or out of the office, I had an emergency with my date and I got her out of office reply. Marisol is handling the wedding stuff while she is gone and got back to me, but I had an urgent status and subject in my email! Â

Yes, my best friends are staying two weeks and I think that is why the decision is so hard because we have such an awesome time with them! I love akumal! Â

Ladies! I can't decide if I should stay there the full two weeks or switch after the first week! I have so much fun with my friends and family so leaving them would suck. But I also think my FH and I would need to relaxation and alone time. What to do? I don't even know what hotel I would stay at for the second week?

Haha, ya I asked my photographer and he didn't think it would be a biggie! BUT all of that worrying for nothing. My tour company actually didn't end up having enough seats available for the week we wanted to go so we had to push it back a week. So I guess it all worked out, I was quite worried there for a bit trying to reconfirm the wedding date with the hotel and the day with the photographer. But thanks so much for the insight!!

I know Cinco de Mayo is not a Mexican holiday, but does anyone know if the hotels usually have a lot of festivites? I just realized that this is my wedding date, did anyone else get married on Cinco de Mayo? I am just worried about the hotel having a lot of loud activites and while I love to party, I do want my wedding day to be a great "private" party. I emailed my hotel to ask them but I thought I would get BDW opinions on havig a wedding on this day. thanks!!

I have seen some really great mens stuff at Le Chateau and Banana Republic Factory in South Common! Oh they also have really cute dresses there but I am going to wait it out a bit longer to see if they go on sale even more

Guess what? I got my wedding date confirmed!!Woooohooooo I emailed Myrium and she forwarded my email to Elena. I had stated that my travel agent had contacted the hotel about this date before, but they had no record of it I know she emailed them because she cc me on every email. But regardless, I got my date (symbolic ceremony, sorry Josie its almost there!) confirmed for May 5, 2011 at 4pm, though. I think this will be too late. I want to have as much time as possible for pictures and long reception so we have as much time as possible in the pc bar! What time did you ladies get married at, and did it work well for you

I am so sorry! Think of the good memories you have of her and don't forget! Like the others have said keeping her memory alive at your wedding would be nice. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hey Ladies, This thread has been pretty quiet lately, any updates? I am still waiting on 2011 pricing and booking in August, but I ordered my STD and just got them yesterday (will post pics soon), we didn't put a specific date on them rather May 2011 with updates to come on our wedding website and then invitations later on. Does anyone have the 2010 price list of flowers, dj, recpetion costs etc? Any new pictures to be shared??
