Is anyone going special OOT bags for their BMs? I ordered totes from cheaptotes for all of the guests, but thought maybe a nice beach bag for the BMs might be a nice gift. Has anyone seen any good deals?

My mugs arrives from 4imprint.ca and they are great! The logo size is quite big too, which we are super happy with. I would recommend 4imprint for sure!

I am ordering from them too! So far they have been a dream to work with. Promp replies to emails and they even phoned me to make sure they knew what I wanted. I haven't recieved my flowers yet, but I should be getting them soon and will update then!

I got my tote from cheaptotes...they are great! Simple, but will get the job done. I also didn't have to pay any duty which was great! I also wanted to mention that I tried ordering mugs from promopays and had horrible service! I ordered the ones I wanted and gave my creditcard info and thought I was getting a really good price. I didn't hear anything from them for a couple of weeks, and something was giving me a bad feeling, so I emailed them to ask if everything was moving along with my mugs. No response from the email a few days later so I started trying to call them. I left a couple messages a couple of days apart and no one was calling me back. So my FI and I kept trying and trying. Finally we got someone on the phone and they told us that the mug we ordered was out of stock so our order hasn't been started. (thanks for telling us!) The guy said he'd email the next day with some similar suggestions. Well he didn't. So a few more phone calls and emails and about a week later he finally got back to me with another mug. It was about 3 times the price of the one I picked! He said it was the only one they had for an order of around 50. I said forget it. I then went on 4imprint.ca and ordered some mugs for much less than promopays. The service has been great so far with prompt email returning and sending of a proof to approve before they printed. I haven't gotten my mugs yet, but I have a good feeling it will work out well. I think promopays caters more to companies ordering thousands of mugs at a time. (many of their min. quantities are in the 1000s) So even though looking through their website it looks like you can get a good deal from promopays, I wouldn't recommend them as what they had to offer me was more expensive than 4imprint.ca or discountmugs. And 4imprint has had WAY better customer service so far....just a heads up!

Thanks for the info, Heather. Does anyone know what they do for music for the beach ceremony? Is there a stereo & microphone available? We asked the WC about having a couple of musicians play during the ceremony and were quoted 200 CUC for them to play for 30 minutes. We thought that was a bit steep.

Yeah, there is nothing that can be done. We have a relative who is coming and he is a minister so he is going to marry us in Cuba and we will just sin the paperwork in Canada to make it legal. We should have thought of that before, as it makes it more special for us anyway to have him marry us. So I guess problem solved!

It is frustration! Especially since we have been booked for so long with such a large group! We might just switch to a symbolic ceremony. My FI's uncle is coming and he is a minister so we are going to ask him to marry us there and we will just sign the papers in Canada, or however he tells us we have to do it. I wonder what the hotel will charge for a symbolic ceremony. I don't want to ask the WC until we know his uncle is willing to do it.

I found some more cheap mugs on Custom T-shirts, Personalized Mugs Pens Bags USB, T-shirts Toronto TP -14 $3.14 each for 50 ST14 $3.35 each for 50 4000 cafe $2.82 for 50 We ended up ordering the ST14 ones! It was so much cheaper than discountmugs. Thanks again Meghan for sharing!!! Now to find the actual tote bags.....

I just got this email from my WC. The price for our actual wedding just went up from 350 CUC to 500 CUC AFTER we have been booked for months! Here is the email. What should we do? Is it worth fighting or is it a lost cause? I was also wondering if any other Cuba brides had a similar situation as according to her email it is the new "law" in Cuba. Quote: Hello: I received a communication from the Notary office just a few minutes ago, they received a new regulation and the price of the weddings has changed, according to that we are force to change the price of our wedding package, please check the attachment in order to know it, I will need you let us know if you are agree to pay this new price or if you want to cancel your wedding reservation, we will be waiting for your news. We are really sorry about it but the is a new law about this service and we can not do anything about it, it will be applicable for all the wedding to be celebrate since today it does not matter when it was booked. We were talking earlier about how the New Moon movie left out the talk about imprinting....I just read New Moon again and started Eclipse. The imprinting stuff doesn't come in until Eclipse. So I guess that's why it wasn't in the movie. (I was sure it was in New Moon - But when you read all books back-to-back you really lose track of when one begins and the other ends) I totally agree with the lack of emotions in the movie compared to the book. You really didn't see how strong Bella & Edward's love really was, as well as how strong her bond with Jacob really was. In the book, Bella tries to convince herself that maybe she should be with Jacob, even if the love she feels for him isn't the same as with Edward but she still loves him. (When they almost kiss in the truck) I guess it would be hard to show her thoughts in a movie, but you'd think with good acting the actor would get that across?
