Suit shopping turned out to be much more difficult than wedding dress shopping. Usually it's not an issue for Rob to find a suit because he's getting a black or navy one but a tan suit was another issue. He always buys separates because his shoulders put him in a 48R jacket but he has a 36 waist. I guess they can only tailor down the pants 5 or 6 inches and most of the 48R suits come with 43 pants. Who knew? Since the lighter tan that I was looking for is seasonal they don't offer them in separates now, we're a little late getting to the suit shopping unfortunately....
This weekend we went all over the place looking at 2 malls, Men's Warehouse, K&G, Jos A Bank, Brooks Brothers (this stop was later on, I was willing to pay $500 for his suit just to get it done), etc.... The whole time I was thinking about the shopping I could be doing for my remaining items and hating him for having a mis-shapen body.... After making our rounds at the last mall I said, let's just check JCPenney, who knows they might have something. Of course never imagining his wedding suit would come from Penney's to my surprise they had separates in the exact color I wanted. It was on sale for $99 so after tailoring it came to about $130. The positive is I'm having the groomsmen get the same pants so they all match. I'm so happy that part's over, Rob isn't exactly a shopper so it wasn't very enjoyable.
Now I'm off to find the groomsmen shirts, love all your choices!
