Ya I guess I am kind of worried about hurting one of their feelings. I like the idea of my mom because were really close but my dad hasn't even been on a plane in his life so him coming to Jamaica is a big deal and I know he really want's to be a part of it...Lots of thinking to do I guess...I'll probably ask my mom what she thinks. Alright so this has been the HARDEST decision of my wedding so far. My parents got a divorce when I was 5 and Im pretty sure it was a really bitter divorce because we moved from Ontario to Alberta and I didnt talk to or visit my dad at all. When I was 17 I decided I wanted to get in touch with him and have been talking to/visiting him ever since(it has been good but still a little awkward because I didn't know him most of my life) As well my mom re married when I was 8 so I have had a step dad since then who I get along with. Originally I was going to eliminate this problem by having my grandpa walk me down the isle but he passed away right before we got engaged. So now I'm thinking the only way to do this without hurting someone is to have both of them walk me down the isle. Is this weird What are your thoughts?

So my invitations are finally done!!! Everyone has been asking us the same thing. We got engaged august of 2007 (the same day we moved into a new home) and were not getting married until feb.2010 I just wasn't in a big rush , we wanted to get settled in...now I have 3 cousins that have got engaged in the last month and are planning their weddings within 5 month's of ours... I found my bridesmaids dresses today!!!!!Hooray

I bought my wedding dress at a store in edmonton and don't really want to go back there 3 times for alterations so was wondering if you girls can reccommend anyone in Calgary that won't ruin my dress (alterations are scary). As well a couple of my bridesmaid's need to get theirs taken in as well so we need to find someone GREAT Haha please help!
