  1. Papermart! Wow, I would have never thougth to look there. I don't need 100, but for anyone else who might need a lot of them, they have those reusable grocery type bags for a really good price.
  2. There are so many cute ideas on this forum, and I think I'm starting to stress myself out with trying to pull it all together. It's come to my attention, that I'm way behind schedule on everything... So can you ladies help me out? Where did you purchase your OOT bags? It seems like Promotional tote bags custom sizes and styles from cheap totes now with t-shirts and screen printing is popular and so is Party supplies, crafts, party decorations, toys: Oriental Trading Thought it might be a good idea to put some sort of list together of everyone's great buys.
  3. Thank you so much for posting this thread JamieLynne. I felt like everyone on here was superorganized and after reading where everyone was with there planning, I realized I was totally behind schedule. While I still have more to do than most, (just orderd my dress on Tuesday), it's good to hear all the suggestions and advice from others. I'm kind of scared to make a to-do list, but I don't think I have a choice. Anyways, thanks again!
  4. I'm not as active as I would like to be on this forum, but everytime I come on I find inspiration in someone...Erica, you sound like an amazing woman, I hope everything works out in the end, and you stay strong. I can only imagine how hard this must be for you, please know there are people you have never met who are praying for you and who think you are amazing for doing the right thing!!
  5. I'm going with DJ Mijares for my wedding, he gave me his BofA account # so I was able to go to the bank and make the deposit there. No extra charges. Not sure if DJ Ricardo does that, but it's worth asking him if it will save some money.
  6. Hello Ladies, I downloaded the templates and was able to manipulate them ok. Feel free to PM me and maybe I can help you out. Or you can look me up on AOL messanger, "zethers"
  7. The San Jose Del Cabo website suggests you arrive 3 hours before departure for international flights. Info is on the bottom of this link. SJD Los Cabos Airport Mexico Cabo San Lucas MX Probably a lot of waiting around, but better safe than sorry.
  8. Unfortunately I'm a little clueless since I haven't started the veil shopping, but I have to say your dress is GORGEOUS!! Where did you find it? I just Love it!!
  9. Having it engraved in Spanish is such a great idea, I love it. You can also google friendship quotes for different ideas if you're not sure on yours, but I think your idea is fabulous!! Thanks for sharing.
  10. An easy way to perforate those boarding passes...run them through a sewing machine (minus the thread of course). It takes a second and it works great. Only wish I would have thought of it before I had them cut! Hope that helps somebody!
  11. I hope it all works out for you. Good thing you have a travel agent to help you negotiate. Wherever your wedding ends up, it will be memorable. Good Luck.
  12. I would also check out Sand Blast Entertainment They sell all sorts of bottles, mainly for filling up with different colored sands, you know the kind you see at fairs and such, but it would also work for filling up with shampoo, conditioner, etc. They have different sized and shapes if you want to be creative, and their prices are very competitive. I was originally going to do message in a bottle invites and they were the cheapest for those.
  13. GO FOR IT!! I did this for someone else's Bachelorette party, it was hilarious! BachataBride is correct...your arms will hurt for a few days after, along with your stomach from so much laughing. And you can always show off your new moves to your Man, so he'll love it too!! haha.
  14. Well maybe my situation can help you out...I want to get married by the Catholic Church but I also want a wedding overlooking the beach. So...I've decided to get married by the Catholic Church the day before we leave, only parents and siblings though. Then when we exchange our own vows overlooking the beach it will be in front of our guests with the background I dreamed. Perhaps you can do something a little similiar, a small private ceremony, just your family and have your Dad walk you down the aisle, so that you can have that memory, but still plan your DW the way you dreamed. If you do that then you wouldn't have to worry about all the paperwork that needs to be taken care of overseas. You're in a tough situation, and I can see both point of views. Do what's in your heart. Good Luck!! Let us know how it turns out.
  15. My birthday and my Dad's birthday was the same week, not even the same day as my Sister's wedding, and she had the emcee announce it, then she took the mic and said something along the lines of how special we were to her, and how she couldn't have pulled off her wedding without us, I was the MOH. Then everyone sang Happy Birthday to us. It was really sweet, I know I appreciated it, and I think it showed a lot of class on her part. All eyes were still on her, and the party continued. It is your day though, you do what you feel comfortable with and whatever will make you happy. Let us know what you decide.
  16. No stressing!! What's the point? As much as it sucks and it hurts that she would drop out, (especially via text, now that would piss me off), I'm sure she's upset too. This economy sucks, and it's affecting a lot of people. You many not know how tough her financial situation really is, so wish her the best, let her know she'll be missed, especially when sipping those drinks poolside, and move on. Like everyone else has already said, your wedding will be fabulous! You have the love and support of your family and of your MAN!!
  17. Men, Men, Men!! Hopefully you've had some time to vent and with the help of all the wonderful ladies on here you can come up with a good solution. Since you love your cousin and would like to see her happy, and her husband is obviously clueless perhaps you can help them out a little. I know, I know, you put a lot of work into planning your day, but let's face it, helping him out is better than having him join in on YOUR day. I would suggest helping him set something up the next day. A simple renewal of the vows on the beach followed by a brunch at the Resort Restaurant. You figure you will eat brunch the next day anyways. Perhaps he can set-up an appointment with the Spa to get her hair and makeup done to make it special for her. You can offer the names of some photographers so they can have some pictures, and he can buy a bouquet for her. Look at this way, you've inspired him to do something nice for your cousin. Just make sure it's not on YOUR DAY!! Let us know how it turns out! Good Luck.
  18. Yes, sorry I wasn't clear. I laughed because I got one great review for each, which was great to read because it made me feel comfortable no matter which I way I decided.
  19. I agree with everyone on the videographer. As for your future father-in-law, you should tell him that if the fact you have chosen to pay for him and his wife, (that is an assumption), is causing problems then perhaps it would be better if everyone paid their own way!! In a sort of joking manner, haha! That's just me being me though. Actually I would have my FI tell him that and I would just laugh in the background. hehe. BTW, I love your hair!!!
  20. Congrats!! There are so many ideas on here, you will find everything you need plus some. Don't forget to have fun with the planning.
  21. Oh, your invites have so much detail, I wish I would have started earlier, but thanks to wonderful people like yourself for posting, I'm getting a lot done. I only hope mine come out half as good as yours, they truly are beautiful!! Thanks for posting and for replying to all the questions.
  22. I'm such a procrastinator but since we are having a destination wedding, I figured a wedding website would make it a lot easier on everyone, and it was a lot of fun. Feel free to look at ours... martinezolague.com If you have any questions feel free to ask. I hadn't found this forum prior to setting it up, but MarieSam gave me a good idea to check out other websites to get some ideas...that's my project at work tomorrow!! hehe.
  23. LOL!! Two more great reviews. Thank you ladies for responding. I went ahead and booked DJ Ricardo, extra savings in money will go to Photograpy!! Thanks again!!
