So my fiance decided that he REALLY wanted chinese food last night... he knows it's one of my FAVORITES and of course I had all intentions of just having some steamed rice with grilled teriyaki chicken (sauce on the side of course) because we took the kids out for a nice steak dinner on Sunday and I KNEW I didn't have extra points left but I couldn't resist! I picked on a little of this and a little of that... so basically a little of everything so now I'm feeling all of the guilt and am dreading weigh in on Saturday Just had to get it off my chest because I have been struggling with motivation for the last few weeks and I'm at my witts end with myself. I figure writing it out for all to see will help me get back on track so thanks for letting me vent.

I'm peeing myself waiting! Well you're still doing fantastic Mrs. D! Look at how much you've lost already! I'm jealous! j/k.. Keeps me motivated to stay on track OOhhh yes! I called the MP to book the date and faxed in the request the very same day! They just e-mailed me the contract on Friday so now we have to sign it and send it back

We're still in search of the 'perfect' cushion cut diamond and it's driving me to madness already! I am way too much of a perfectinist to be buying diamonds. Why can't they all just be D Flawless!

Congrats Lisa and R Lady! You guys are doing great! I weighed in today and lost .4 ... I'm slightly disappointed because I was sure it was going to be more because all week my scale at home was at least 2 lbs. lighter than it had been. Oh well I'm glad I at least lost this week. Guess I had one too many glasses of wine last night!..LOL

Wow! You guys are doing fantastic!! I'm not too discouraged by my slow progress lately, I know it will eventually catch up as long as I keep doing good. I'm feeling good about this week so we'll see. I haven't been as strict with my points as I should be lately so I need to focus a little more and I'm sure things will start to progress faster. Way to go girls! Woot Woot!!!

So I weighed in on Saturday morning and I too didn't gain nor did I lose anything this week. My Aunt Flo came to visit this Friday so I think that might have a little bit to do with it (sorry if that's TMI) because I felt like I was doing pretty good up until then... I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens next Saturday. At least I didn't gain

Thanks girls! I know what you mean Lisa... I have my good and bad weeks. I can be SOOO good most weeks, but there are always those weeks that I just can't say NO to anything!... Sounds like you're back on track so keep it up Congrats Super19!! Hey, no one said cocktails weren't allow... What do you think I use all of my flex points on! ...lol Mrs. D, I too am a cheese lover! and pizza... don't even get me started ... one of my favorite foods... but at least you evened out this week and are still doing great! Have a great week everyone and just do your best!

Just got back from weighing in and I lost 1.8 lbs! Woot Woot! I'm pretty happy with that considering I was trying to make up for how bad I was last week. This week the goal is to work out more.

You have come to the right place! It's much easier to loose weight and stay motivated when you do it with someone else.. and that's what we are The great thing about WW is that you get a fresh start every week (or every day for that matter). Don't let one bad day or one bad week ruin all you have already accomplished. I know I've had my share of ups and downs when it came to weigh-in each week, but the ups (meaning losses) always outweighed the downs (gains) and before you know it you're at your goal weight! Don't give up! Just find what works for you, what foods keep you satisfied within your points and don't be afraid to use your flex points for treats (for me it's pizza) so you don't deprive yourself. You can do this! p.s. I've been a lifetime member for more than a couple of years already and am at it full force for the wedding so I know it works (I just got lazy after maintaing for so long)

Hello ladies! Welcome Super19, Royal_lady and Pat!!! For those of you on WW, I have had a lot of success with it and think it's a fabulous plan so if you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will try to help We are here to support each other and it also helps to keep us accountable when we know we are going to post our progress to keep us on track. Congratulations Mrs. D and Lisa!!! You guys are doing so great! I will definately not miss next week's meeting... I know how much they help and it is much too easy to slack off when you don't go Last week was rough but I have been pretty good this week so hopefully I will see a loss by next weigh in (or at the very least break even). Wish me luck!! p.s. You girls are FABULOUS!

Hi Ladies! I didn't forget about you but I didn't make it to the WW meeting on Saturday to weigh in because I was diamond shopping in S.F.! My fiance proposed to me with a 3 carat pink sapphire which I love but now we are currently in the process of trying to hunt down a 1.5 carat cushion cut diamond for my wedding ring. We spoke to a couple of jewelers who are going to get some more in for us to look at in about two weeks. I'll report back after next Saturdays' weigh in with good news hopefully I've had a rough week so far due to being out and about so much and eathing out so hopefully the scale won't be too hard on me ...lol!

Verry cute! I love them! -
Great job Mrs. D! We're on our way! Woot Woot! Don't worry Lisa, like Mrs. D said, you have the right attitude and tomorrow's a new day. That's what I love about WW... you get a fresh start each day. You can do it! Goal for next week... 1.5 lb!

So, today's been really hectic but I wanted to stop by and post my weight loss! I lost 3 lbs. this week!!!!!! Way more than I expected but I was so happy to see it go

Congratulations! We love it at the Moon Palace and are getting married there in April of 2010!

I have a lab created Pink Sapphire e-ring and I LOVE it! I'm having it reset in a halo setting with a split shank and can't wait until it's done! It's SO me and my fiance couldn't have picked a more perfect stone It has a nice deep pink color and since he knows my favorite color is fuschia he tried to get as close to it is possible.

Tell him you guys really want to just focus on each other that day and it's something you've planned for a long time. If necessary, bring up the idea of maybe doing it in the days AFTER your wedding...although to me, that's still a bit tacky But yes ~ I strongly support a big HELL NO to the idea!!!! Bravo! That's exactly how I would have put it! DO NOT let him ruin your day. You have every right to have the wedding of YOUR dreams and not have to share it. You do this once in a lifetime (well twice for me, kind of ...hehe). Be strong and DON'T GIVE IN. You put a lot of effort and hard work into this.

Brazilian Wax...First Time Tomorrow!!! Yikes
vgirl17 replied to lil_reeves's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
It's actually not as bad as you would think. The lady who does mine is pretty fast so that helps. It also depends on the type of wax they use. I prefer them to use the wax with strips instead of the type where they don't have to use the strips and have to pick at the corner to pull up. That hurts. Don't worry, it's totally worth it and gets easier every time -
How many people are you having?
vgirl17 replied to RRsmile's topic in General Wedding Planning Information
I'm actually hoping it won't be more than 30 people. I want to keep it small and intimate but we have a large family and have to invite everyone. We haven't sent out STDs yet but we've told some family already and I was surprised at the amount interest already.... We're getting married at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun and I was just hoping to do a cocktail reception... we'll see I guess. -
Congratulations and happy planning! I'm getting married in 2010 too
