  1. I was scrolling through this thread, and I was already thinking of turquoise and red. I've seen a few inspiration boards with this, and thought it was gorgeous because you can have red roses present or rose petals. I saw a site somewhere, where turquoise was the base and they had red coral accents on their paper goods. Very cute and works nicely with a beach wedding. The turquoise to tie in with the DW and because my FI has beautiful blue eyes and any shade of blue makes them pop! That gives us an elegant red feel and a fun, carribean blue - but we need to decide how we use them now. But I agree turquoise is a fantastic color and can to so many ways. For the peacock feel, you can focus on the turquoise and use the darker blue as an accent color. There's a thread in here about blue flowers! Good luck.
  2. Congratulations and it sounds like it was beautiful! I love reading about happy experiences!
  3. Thanks for the links, ladies! My FI is actually very picky, and tends to have expensive taste, but these look like they'll meet his standards, especially since they're so affordable! I'd rather spend more money on my dress...
  4. I agree! The photo makes the dress look full and flowy -- like another post said, if you look and feel great in it, stick with it. You will definitely be the center of attention in this dress!
  5. Thank you for your review! Saw the other pics that Mishka posted. GORGEOUS! Congratulations!
  6. Did you check out the Palace Resorts chain? Some of those allow kids as well, and their wedding packages are great!
  7. Excellent advice! 8. I agree; lime and aqua are great beach wedding themes!
  9. I voted for the 2nd one, but in gold since your dress is champagne, but if course you'd have to see with both color shoes up against the dress to make sure. Good luck, they're all gorgeous! Except #3, since the link didn't give results..

  15. That is SUCH a great idea! We've been wanting to go to the courthouse "in secret" and just get it done for so long. I'm glad to see there are others doing it too.
