  1. Everything looked so beautiful!! I can't wait for my wedding! I am getting married at DT also and was thinking about having my reception by the adult pool. Was there enough lighting after dark and do you remember if the pool lights up?
  2. Carmen, I am thinking about using paper lanterns as well. I think that 15 is enough, I don't think I have heard anyone actually using 20-30. I haven't read much about the LED lights and I don't remember if anyone has mentioned buying them.
  3. Hi ladies, does anyone know if children need to pay for day passes? I have one family that has decided to stay in cancun instead of DT. They have two kids, 2 and 4, and need to know if they need to also pay for day passes.
  4. i get a free room after 25 rooms are booked with my ta. At the moment, i think i may miss that requirement by 3 rooms!!!!! In addition to that, my vip guests (moh, bm, etc.) can get free upgrades.

  6. i can go on about the terrible service at david's bridal as well! I couldn't get out of that store fast enough! As for my alterations, my bridal shop charges about $250 flat for all alterations.

  8. awesome!!! I work in the financial district so may be i can go one day after work or on a saturday!! I'm also a touchy consumer so I was having a hard time ordering anything online. Do you know if they have any linens or overlays??
  9. I must say that I love the bm's dresses!! I am having my girls wear blue also and am planning on using bright pink flowers. I say go with the diamond scheme....maybe they can change the sash color though??

  13. I plan to have my girls where blue (like pool or sky blue) dresses and want them to carry bouquets of bright pink or fuschia flowers. You can take a look at theknot.com for ideas since they have tons of pictures. HTH
  14. I started looking into a suit for my FI and saw some at Mens Warehouse. I think some girls have also gone to Banana Republic.
  15. I definitely prefer the live music for the ceremony also. I had emailed Landy about what songs the guitarist and violinst play, but she said they are outside providers so she had no idea. Have any past brides used either of these musicians and what songs did they play or did you request?

Amy Well I already sent out my invitations and didn't mention the excursion on them. I can only do this if 40-45 guests go, anymore than that and I think it will be out of my budget. MnM2Mexico and AmyandRich - We are also planning a catamaran/snorkeling excursion but haven't finalized anything since we really have no clue as to how many people are actually coming to our wedding. I know that one of the past brides used a company which I am pretty sure is listed on page 1 here. I don't think she paid too much for it. If you find any good vendors, please let me know! I will do the same. Thanks

  20. I would love to be part of this!! My wedding is April 24th, but leave to Mexico on the April 21st so I would definitely need the pics before that date. One question...did her price go up??   22. Congrats Shannon! Does anyone know if the WC does the official introduction of "mr. and mrs. ..." at the reception? Or does the dj or a guest do it?
