  1. Okay, well please send me the info in an email if you can when you hear back. I so want to use one of the vendors here but the thought of shipping all that crap down with me is not cool! And from Keneika's standpoint it does not seem as if much is offered in the way of decorations with the royal or caprice other than flowers from their garden so the extra package seems to be a definite. Thanks Trice--hope everything is going well otherwise.
  2. Everyone has put in some wonderful suggestions, thanks, however, I am looking to infuse R&B, old skool Hip Hop , Reggae, merengue music into my musical playlist also, as most of those are Pop/mainstream/alternative. Any past brides have suggestions??
  3. I know there are threads on centerpieces and other decorations however, inr egards to the RIU-MB, has anyone priced out the cost of centerpieces, flower, etc from an AA or Plumeria vs the cost the RIU will charge using Tai Flora?
  4. The beauty of this is you can tailor it anyway that you like. I plan to have the MIL and my mother escorted to their seats and require each to pour sand into the unity vase prior to being seated. Then after exchanging vows my FI and I will complete the Sand ceremony along with our son. We incorporated him into the vows. Do you have sites for ordering? If not here is one: Wedding Supplies / Wedding Accessories / Bridal Accessories Wedding Favors - Cheap Wedding Favors - Wedding Supplies & Wedding Gifts Good luck!
  5. Thanks ladies for your input and store advice. Helps a lot and I will check it out this week (macys) and website tonight!!
  6. Does anyone know how long it takes for a call back from Swellsweets. I sent in an order /wish list about a week ago and a consultant has not gotten back to me as yet. Am I being impatient??

  8. Hello Ladies, Post pregnancy left me with size D cups and I need to reign these puppies in for my wedding. I would like advice on what to wear underneath if I were to wear a strapless ensemble and option #2 -- a spaghetti strap but deep V cut in front and back style dresses. Thanks.

  10. Welcome Eric..Happy Reading.. there is a wealth of info on this website!
  11. Welcome to the Forum! Like many have suggested a wedding planner would be best. Or if you want to mix it up, hire an Event Planner and they usually have specific vendors they work with from A to Z! Good Luck with Everything.
  12. Thanks B--I like that and will definitely keep it as an option. Never thought it would be so tough finding clothes for him!
  13. My son needs a linen suit (Ivory or Beige) for our wedding. He needs a size 2T. I have loooked on several sites, bestdressedchild, ETON, etc and no luck. I was thinking of maybe checking if anyone in the Miami area knew of some reputable stores that I could get an order online completed. Thanks!
  14. Hello I am March 2009 at the RIU-Montego bay. I received my confirmation back in June and sent out my STD at that time as well. My invites are being worked on and I plan to send those out by the ending of October. My website was completed in early July and I have about 3/4 of my guests booked. We did a link into our wedding website so people can just go in any pay their installments at their leisure. Self-service! I have pretty much everything picked out (flowers, cakes, favors, photography, parasols, chair covers. sahes, all deco,e tc), I just have not ordered them yet. I am paralysed because at that point everything becomes final. I have selected my dress and will go to the boutique tomorrow to see how it looks and if that is a bust I have 2 back-up selections. I have been in touch with the hotel and reserved my Spa package, photography and sent samples of my cake. There is still a TON of things to do and there is, however, in theory I have a lot of wheels churning simultaneously but have to put it altogether now. Best of Luck!
  15. ladies, I have a 4pm wedding and was wondering what some of you future or past brides plan to do or have done with your guests following the ceremony? Based on keeping costs down, I did not plan to have cocktails or anything on the beach, but I did plan to hire a band as a place filler until 6:30. Any advice is helpful. Thanks!
  16. That is a gorgeous dress!! Who is the designer if I may ask? I think that you could always go with a silver or gold shoe but I would either pick an accent color from your bouquet or like suggested pick the color of your BM dresses. I am heavily considering going barefoot too-- would think that would be very nice as well. best of luck...
  17. I am doing one per couple, however, larger items, Mugs, monogrammed towels, are one pp. You cand o whatever you choose. I ofcourse am lazy so I went with a recommended shop that customizes OOT bags depending on your budget.
