Hi soonergirl - I'm with Kathy on this as we are using DD also . I'm so happy we made the decision - and I agree - the price is about 3K more - we are having our reception at Dreams but I know it will look great and won't have to worry about anything which is a huge plus and worth the extra cost for us. Also,I'm kind of a stress case if I have to handle everything myself so this has helped me a lot - I don't do anything besides answer emails fromDD really which I love. I don't know much about the other hotels - but I do know Dreams PV just hired a new coordinator named Rebeca who is supposed to be great - I personally have not dealt with her at all though. yeah that one is full also unfortunately - we are actually going to take the 1:30 at Guadalupe and have a break between mass and the reception. I saw pictures of Talpa - and it is okay- just nothing compared to Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Yeah I can't stand living out of my suitcase no matter how short the trip - I always unpack! FI is the complete opposite and it always bothers me so I go ahead and unpack for him as well.

Hey Marisol - I've never been to Dreams but we are having our reception on the beach since we are having 75+ also. Of course my vote is going to go to the beach - I figure, what is a destination wedding reception if it is inside??

saltocoach - I'm having an issue right now with my times because we are getting married in a Catholic Church and the only time they have available is 1:30PM! eekk so we don't know what to do - we want the reception at night so I guess we will just have to have a break in between...fi doesn't think it is a big deal but I just wish they had a 4pm available to make my life easier! I think for beach in Cabo I would do about 5:00? I guess it depends how long you want your ceremony to be.

Hey Arlyn - I visited Dreams Los Cabos and fell in love. The place is breathtaking - but then I got the room pricing for my guests - $400 double occupancy in November...I didn't want to do that to my guests so I picked PV and my room block is almost 1/2 the price (at least on the deluxe rooms). I'm hoping to fall just as much in love with Dreams PV when I get there - and I am sure I will! Plus, I like PV better than Cabo...Cabo is more of a desert, PV is more green and lush

Our Lady of Guadalupe only has a 1:30 mass time slot available for our wedding and I think that is way too early. My WC gave me info on this one - Virgen De Talpa but they have never worked with them before. Has anyone seen this Church in person or do you have any info on it? Thanks!
