I definately agree with you Christine!i am already so upset and disgusted that this was turned down by so many Californians but if they dont allow the marriages that already happened to stay valid than definately these couples should legally go after who ever is responsible for this.

ladies thank you so much for all the help with this we have talked about it a bit now and he knows what i want for an e-ring and its something we cant afford right now so I suggested that we wait and I will get an eternity wedding band and like many of you suggested for an anniversary in the future he will probably get me an "e-ring"....thank you so much i feel better that he now knows what i feel

I think the best thing that we can learn from this is to teach our children and future generations about acceptance and tolerance and to love everyone in this world equally. I know it sounds like a "hippy" way of thinking...but i dont know where our world learned to judge everyone so freely and unfairly. Children definately are the future of the world so we just need to make sure they learn acceptance and love

wow this is terrible! this really upsets me that people feel like they should be allowed to make such a decision that hurts so many lives like this! It will be interesting to see when some of the people that voted against this have children and if they are homosexual and hopefully then these selfish people will realise the happiness they have deprived amazing people of!

Rachel I completely agree with you! My FI and i had that discussion last night that people seem to pick and choose what is used from the Bible. I did grow up in a very Catholic private school so everything around me was religion and that was fine but i think when it becomes that it changes how laws are made that is definately not fair. umm well how long have you had the laptop its usually only the first one or two charges that you should let the battery completely die and then charge it....after that im pretty sure it doesnt matter what you do it wont hurt the battery..thats what my dad has always told me and he works with building computers so i hope he is right lol

ok so im feeling like im in such a wierd situation right now....my FI proposed in June this year but didnt have a ring at the time which i was totally fine with because we just didnt have the money for one (i say we because our bank account is the same) and it was kind of spur of the moment that he proposed he was planning to ask me around christmas time this year...ok so the part that im feeling wierd about is i really do want an e-ring and we have looked casually in jewelery stores and he asks what i want but what i really want is something i know is expensive and so i told him i want a smaller ring and i dunno i dont know now if i even should get an e-ring because its wierd to get one so long after being engaged..... so what i need help with is what would you girls do if you were me?? would you tell him waht you really want? play it down and ask for something alot smaller? or just say you dont want and will just get an amazing wedding ring instead??

wow im so impressed with how everyone has definite reasons for why they voted how they did im a canadian so i cant vote in this but i definately agree with the healthcare issue....i feel so blessed to live in Canada where i can have a surgery that is necessary to guarantee me a long life and wont cost me a cent at all, all i had to pay was $10 for the phone in my room lol. but i know people in the states that have had the identical surgery and just could not afford it for a long time and so they had to wait until they could and so they got very sick! its so scary to think of not being able to just go to a hospital because i am in dire need of help because of the reason of money. I hope they best man wins tonight whoever it ends up being!
