I like blues and greens with champagne.. or dark pinks, light pinks, mauves, purples.. I think you can do pretty much anything with champagne! Maybe do a search on the knot.com?

I use tripadvisor all the time but I also take it with a grain of salt. There are some people who are NEVER happy, no matter what you throw at them. and if 90% of the reviews are good, I think that tells you something! I have seen some bad reviews on there for my resort too but when I think of our group, I know how easy going and easy to please everyone is and i know they will all love it. I wouldnt stress!

Jess, I agree with Chanti, although I dont know if you would have gained that much muscle mass in one week, you will most likely gain some weight before losing it b/c you will be losing fat and gaining muscle. Went to the gym last night, ran a couple miles and then did back, shoulders and triceps. Im sore today!

I am going to be zero help b/c I still dont know my own colors! For sure I know we are having a bright green b/c i already got the bmaid dresses, and then the boys are all in khaki,but flowers im stumped. I see so many bouquets I love with different colors and flowers, that I probably won't decide until I get there!! I do think I want to have an all orange bouquet though, I love orange in pictures! For now I would just focus on your main color, like what color are your bmaids wearing?

I wouldnt bother either. We wont set up anything, and the last wedding I was just at in mexico there wasnt a table either and we all just gave them their cards the day after the wedding.

jennie suggested all the things I would have (raffle tickets, 50/50 tickets, charging a buck or two for shots and drinks).. That will be a fun party with 150 people!!

kittenheart & Jamielynn.. that book is awesome and you definitely have to read 'something blue' after.. its from darcys prespective I cant believe all you had to go through, but i cant say im not surprised. I have heard all sorts of stories of how brides have been. I think the golden rule really needs to apply; 'due unto others as you wish others do unto you'. I know its super corny but if people would just treat others the way they would hoped to be treated if the tables were reversed, these things would never happen!!

Such a great proposal Ashley! I especially think so b/c its pretty close to how mine went down last april too!! It was the weekend of the snowstorm in calgary though, so the original plans to go to the fairmont at lake louise was kyboshed and he got us one of the heritage suites here in town at the palliser Its almost time for your wedding!!

black blankets would really absorb the heat.. I would pick aqua blankets and black and white pillows as my first choice!

I am with Erika.. the bridal party will be announced and then we will be announced, and then we will immediately go right into the first dance followed by father/daughter-mother/son dance.

ha, I would be the first to say Jcrew b/c Im jcrew obsessed but I know they don't have anything that color. I did however almost buy this dress from LULUS Fashion Lounge, Cute Shoes, Trendy Clothes, Fashion Apparel, Teen Clothing, Junior Shoes, Accessories, Jewelry, just to have. Its different and cute-I LOVE exposed zippers. Not sure if its your style but its steel/blue (and only $50)!
