Hi everyone I have been off the forum for awhile but I am back and can't believe our weddings are less then 4 months away...when did that happen...I still have a lot to do but I also got much more done then I thought...my RSVP date is today and I still have a few that haven't gotten yet that are maybes but as of now I have 60 people coming and I am sooooo excited. We bought our weddings bands this week and now I just have to work on my OOT bags, and flowers, and decorations. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying every moment because it is not about the wedding day it is about the marriage good luck everyone

I am booked at RoseHall for May 2009. I took a trip there last June and it was perfect for me...I was looking for a more intimate resort instead of the mega resports all over. I got a great price for my guest....I have had a few problems at the beginning of my planning but now everyhting is much better...I had to come to terms that they just communicate slower in then I am use to as the crazy New Yorker I am...Also by bgiggest advice is to understand the pricing system for all the food, drinks, band and decorations I didn't realize how expensive the actual wedding would be I was so concerned and consentrated on the rate for my guest.

If you are worried about sizing first read if there are any reviews on the site girls are pretty honest if they are true to size or buy 3 different sizes and return the ones that don't fit for a little extra shipping you have no worries they are after all for your wedding. But if you need shoes just for walking around the resort in your dress get a pair of flip flops from Old Navy or something and make it simple for yourself...I saw someone suggested Nina great shoes but usually have a high heel and sizes change with styles ( I have 5 pair and none fit the same)

I think #1 has character (in a good way) you also look more in your own skin as if you belong in it so my vote is #1

I know my FI will not want to 1 take the TTD pictures and 2 take the time out for it. Although I really want to do a TTD as well I can't imagine fitting it in to our limited time but if I really want it and figure it out he may give in (finger crossed)

Hi Girls, My invites are sent out and I am starting to receive RSVP's. Most of the response have been no's but they were all expected. I am just worried no one is booking their rooms (I know we all worry about this) but I have very limited rooms and their is another wedding going on that weekend. No big deal I guess I am just so excited every time I check my guest manager list and someone books. Next is to get started on picking out a bridesmaid dress ....

I know in NY if you are chosen and cannot make it into the class they are calling for you can ask for an extension and get in the next class. So if it will not be done before your wedding it might be better to wait it out. My FI is a NYC Fireman and I know he was useless during training. Good luck I hop eit all works out
