    Hi

Welcome! You will find a wealth of information here...the search feature is great to find specific info.
  4. Welcome to the forum. Don't worry I am a control freak too and have already started planning as well. We hope to get married in June or July of 2010. Happy Planning!
  5. Le Mystere is the best strapless bra I have ever found! It is the only one to hold my boobs in place without making me feel like I am going to faint. I am a 32DDDD (yeah that exists! and sucks!) and for a normal bra I wear Chantelle. Both brands are available at Nordstrom, and the ladies in there are SO helpful. I didn't even think about having cups sewn in to a gown...gosh so much to think about!
  6. The pictures are just beautiful and you looked gorgeous! Congratulations, the pictures were definitely worth the wait!
  7. Hi Ladies, I am planning to get married in 2010 in Cabo and was wondering if you could let me know your thoughts on the best month to get married due to the weather... I am limited to late June, July and Early August...any recommendations? Thanks! Nicole
  8. I am having one of each too, my sister is the Matron of Honor and my best friend is going to be the Maid of Honor....do what makes you happy!
  9. your pictures are great! I love that you are having her fly out for you wedding...I am going to do the same with my photographer!
  10. Hi Ladies, I am thinking of having my reception at a villa and am trying to get an idea on what catering might cost. I have contacted a few companies but haven't heard back from any of them so I thought I would reach out to you ladies. Any information would be SO helpful right now. Thanks! Nicole
  11. I also print labels through microsoft word. They usually have all of the avery templates. Maybe that can work for you?

I have Cabo on my list as well.....I wanted to do both for site visits, but the TA said the flight from Cancun to Cabo is like 5 hours...as you layover somewhere..or some other bs like that...So I am hoping I find somewhere in Cancun, otherwise it is off to Cabo! Just keep in mind, no matter where you pick it is going to be beautiful, you can't beat the beach, pools and warm weather, how could you have a bad time? We will all look back at the planning process after we are married and wish we hadn't of stressed so much about the little stuff.. But I know how you feeling, picking a resort is the WORST part...I talked my mom into cashing in all of her frequent flyer miles, and hotel rewards so we could get cheap flights and cheap rooms, the whole trip is only costing us about $500..Good luck with your planning and let me know what you decide on..RIU Cabo is also one of my choices...I need to stop researching on here! Thanks for your advice Ashley, it is just good to know that we are all in this together! LOL! Way to go for your mom with hooking you up for your site visits, I can't wait to hear what you find out. Let me know if you ever make it to Cabo too. I am hoping to go in August but everything is so pricey and just like all of us I am on a budget, but I am hoping to make it work. I know what you mean about researching on here....I spend WAY too much time on this forum! My Fiance keeps asking me...is this all you do all day? LOL! Oh well, it is fun and full of great ideas!

  18. Ashley I know your pain. This is what I have been going through but for Los Cabos instead of Cancun. Sometimes I just want to pick a place already and other times I know I should actually go and see the places in person. I am glad you are able to do this and wish you luck, I know you will find the perfect place for your wedding.
  19. All I can say is Mc Donalds Sausage Egg McMuffins are my weakness! I have to steer clear from that place, although I always seem to find it on those mornings where I had a wee bit too much to drink the night before! Sometimes you just need to satisfy those cravings. Everything in moderation right?
  20. Although I love the idea of the tealights I am not sure they would look good with the anthuriums. The tealights are very romantic and the anthuriums are very tropical. I would ditch the tealights and just do the anthuriums.
  21. You hit the nail on the head. This is exactly how I feel. It is your wedding so have it where you and your Fiance want. Those who can make it will be there...but don't give up on what you want to appease everyone else. Just my $0.02. Quote: Originally Posted by ErinB My resort wasn't the cheapest. All of our food, drinks, room service, transfers, watersports (motorized and non-motorized), as well as several excursions were included. Sometimes the rooms might be cheaper but you will end up spending the same amount of money. The bottom line with a DW is those who want to come will come. Those that don't will always have SOME kind of excuse. If it's not the money, it's the timing, the location, the airline, etc.
