I was afraid I was going to spend money on a cake and everyone would be full and it would go to waste. I liked the cupcakes because its something guests can grab for later if they want a snack. We are going to provide little boxes for them to put them in. And, we can still do a cake cutting and have our own cake. oooo i love the idea of providing boxes!! i've been thinking about that instead...they are a little cheaper. would it be weird if we just exchanged cupcakes rather than a cake for 2?? haha thanks for the ideas! ((where did you get the boxes?))
  2. i'm stuck on deciding on the cake...i feel like the price quote is super high. buuuut i can't see us without a cake?? also, we finalized reception decor and music choices! woohoo!! now hopefully i can get the fiance out and about today to look @ clothing for him!!! happy planning!

The AHR is planned for 3 weeks after our ceremony, 2 weeks after we get back to NC. ha! sounds almost identical to our AHR! it's at a rustic place called texas old town. fun! :) ours will be basically 1 week after the wedding, which i think will be stressful but fun @ the same time. happy "rustic" planning! message me with decor ideas if you want to share...i'm still trying to finalize things!

  5. Hey girls! Well, I've been pretty okay with the crazy pricing for wedding/Cabo stuff...(AKA: $5 per sparkler...) BUT I'm just wondering about others' cake pricing. I received this quote for the cake I want: 2-TIER WEDDING CAKE WITH FONDANT 'RIBBON' ROSES: ============================================ All covered in smooth White Buttercream, piped with wavy horizontal lines around each tier, and decorated with hand-made Rolled Fondant 'Ribbon' Roses of various sizes on each tier. Top decoration of metallic flower "picks" not included (these are not available in Cabo and were provided from the US by the bride). Top Tier: 6" Round (serves 12), cake & filling flavors TBA Bottom Tier: 8" Round (serves 24), cake & filling flavors TBA ========================= Total Servings = 36 Price = $345 USD + $75 delivery Is that crazy, or am I crazy? K, just wondering. Thanks for the help in advance.
