my WC helped me book victor alvarado to video our ceremony. i've tried to find a website as well as samples of his work, but i'm coming up with nothing. she sent me a clip, but it doesn't work.... has anyone worked with him or heard anything about him? thanks so much!!

so great to see others doing the same as we are! we are getting married legally in texas a few days before we travel to cabo! i'm worried because we leave for cabo on december 31st, soooo i'm hoping the JP will be open during the holidays? (does anyone know?) that might be a silly question? my fiance's pastor will be able to perform our religious ceremony, which will be our anniversary! hooray!

hey y'all! well, we just had another family/future in-law wedding meeting, and it was slightly stressful.. (of course the margaritas helped!) i'm worried about the logistics of getting people to and from the airport....if y'all don't mind posting what you did/plan to do that would be so helpful. i'm getting a price quote from enrique mora @ los cabos travel...is this the best option? i think we are also renting a car? also, how did you handle going out to eat in Cabo? we are not at an AI so we will dine out most of the time...any suggestions so we don't end up with one large bill to pay? as far as activities go...are y'all compiling a list of things to do...like suggestions? or arranging activities? we have one arranged cruise scheduled but that's it so far. any suggestions? thanks so much...! the days are going faster and faster!

can someone briefly outline what you are including in your letters/books? i have so many ideas running through my head, i don't want to forget anything!

hello hello! well, i just stumbled upon this thread, and i LOVE it! it's like an accountability/support group/timeline for january brides. after reading through the posts, i need to get moving on some things....! here's my info: engaged: December 31, 2007 (new year's eve surprise!) ceremony date/time: January 3, 2009 (4:45pm) location: sheraton hacienda del mar in cabo san lucas, mexico invitations have been sent to cabo guests (a month or two ago? - the time literally FLEW by!) my dress: bought in BCBG store (been hanging in my closet for several months!! yay!!) bmaids' dresses: ordered and received from jcrew (as well as accompanying sashes) groom and groomsmen attire: this was delegated to the father of the groom! i should probably check up on that.... wedding rings: ordered and received (i need to get the date engraved on his band!) WC hired: Katie Thompson WIP photographer/videographer: booked! need to make lists of what pictures wanted and with whom! ceremony music: acoustic guitarist hired...need to make song selections ceremony decor: need to decide on chair cover color; ordered rose petals for aisle ceremony flowers: undecided...this needs to be done! IMPORTANT: need to check into legal ceremony in Texas! reception: all details need to be planned with FMIL! (future in-laws are funding this reception in place of the rehearsal dinner, and my family is funding the at-home reception) OOT gifts: brainstorming continues...need to nail down specifics transportation in cabo: needs to be arranged! at-home reception: January 9, 2009 location: texas old town in kyle, tx (menu decided! - bbq!) invitations ordered and received for at-home reception. these will be sent out about 6-8 weeks beforehand...maybe a little earlier due to holiday season music: decided upon artist...need to finalize details decorations: brainstorming...need to finalize! wedding website: nicoleandscottswedding.com wellllll, this is just the bare bones of everything. i need to get on top of this stuff, but y'all are so motivating! thanks for the great ideas and keep up the good work!!

welcome welcome! i'm new to the forum, too! you definitely have plenty of time to plan for a cabo wedding. if a beach/destination wedding is what y'all want, then i would go for it! this forum is the most helpful place i've found thus far in the planning process. good luck and happy planning!!

Hi all!! My name is Nicole, and I'm so happy to have stumbled across this forum! My fiance's name is Scott, and we're getting married in Cabo on January 3, 2009! We will be at the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar, more specifically, at the Palapa location. It's a small ceremony with close friends and family only. Following our honeymoon in Cabo (Las Ventanas), we're coming back to Texas to celebrate with more friends and family. We're so excited! -Nicole-
