we're using sparklers! i think it's very romantic! i wouldn't recommend it for big groups...just seems dangerous with a lot of drunk people? haha

i LOVE this show!! i think it's much better than NYC housewives, but the ATL girls were pretty good! OC will always be my fave. i really like gretchen, and i think (or @ least i want to think) she has good intentions... laurie is just over this whole show i think. it seems that george swept her off her feet, and she doesn't need tv attention anymore. oh boy, vicki is a MESSSSSS. why is she so shady and mean this season?? jeana deserves much better than crazy hubby, and tamara drives me nuts.... woohooooooo (*vicki style) to a new season!!

this thread is making me feel normal for loving info-mercials! i've been wondering about PediPaws, so thanks for the info, ladies! i'll probably buy one for Luke's Christmas present - he's got short hair and dark nails. hopefully he'll sit still long enough for me to give him a pedicure! i, too, purchased BareEscentuals but only after i talked it over with a friend who loved them. i bought mine at ULTA (a beauty store chain) rather than off TV my 1st Proactiv purchase was from the info-mercial! i started about 7 years ago, and it works better than anything i've ever used. unfortunately it's a bit pricey...*sigh* i was 2 seconds away from purchasing Hip-Hops Abs when i realized how much the 4 installments of $whatever.99 were going to cost me! that commercial is so fun and convincing...!!! i still want to buy it.... haha my parents and i make fun of ShamWOW! guy ALLLLLLLL the time...wow, he's nuts. so, apparently they work...?? i guess i'll buy one for my parents for Christmas..hehe his best line is something like "they're made in Germany, which is good bc the Germans always make good stuff"....do y'all know what i'm talking about? oh, he's a trip! finally - i don't know if this is on the same train as an info-mercial but does anyone order from Home Shopping?? my mom has been ordering makeup from them for quite some time, and it's great stuff!! watching HSN for even 5 minutes is pure entertainment.

yay for pet presents! we always get our family dog, Jake, some new chew toys/treats/bones, etc... FI and I got a dog, and i was surprised to hear him talk about potential Christmas present for Luke (the dog)! i think he might get him a new collar bc he's outgrowing his rapidly (5 months & 60ish pounds)...and i was thinking about buying a "Pedi-Paws"...has anyone used these/know if they work? i feel like clipping their toenails is so mean. it's so great to see so many pets get spoiled!

**UPDATE** another item (almost) checked off the list! i'm lacking a personalized gift certificate for each girl's pedicure at the sheraton spa the day of the wedding! my mom and i sat down to finish these up tonight! here are some pics: beginning with boxes & bags... finished products! the note card in the lower left-hand corner are matching blank notes i found at target. i will personalize each with an initial stamp and write each girl a personal thank you note for being a BM! close-up of MOH's bag photo of scarf included in gift that will be used as sash during ceremony and can be worn as shawl/pashmina during reception. ((we bought their dresses, too, which is also part of the gift)) each girl ((as well as each female wedding guest)) is receiving a personal spa wrap from SmartyPants Boutique (BEST vendor ever!! seriously, check it out!) detail on wrap! completed gift includes: -personalized bag -flip-flops to match dress -yellow scarf -wedding-day pearl earrings -gift certificate for french pedicure day of wedding -BM dress -personal spa wrap that's it! the gifts are complete (almost) and ready to go! i'll probably distribute them at the bachelorette party, which is 4 days before we depart for cabo!

**UPDATE*** the OOT boxes were almost completed tonight! my mom and i sat down to compile everything because we wanted to see how much room these are going to take up when we pack... the finishing touches i'm missing include: - finalize outside label & print - finalize water bottle label & print - round up a few extras for another room - purchase food goodies/water upon arrival in Cabo beginning with "pile-o-stuff" a little more organization detail on the mints...hehe "mint to be" - so cheesy, but i love it! rough draft of front labels & water bottle labels - need to make them a little more exciting finished! we put the "liquid" items in smaller ziplocs and stuff those into gallon ziplocs full of the dry items. we made one for each room to pack flat(ish) in the suitcase, pull the out the day of, assemble, and VOILA! we're also including these spa wraps from SmartyPants Boutique (AKA: Joy is the most amazing vendor EVER....!!!!) for each lady attending the wedding. They will be delivered to their rooms with the OOT boxes. details on the spa wraps - all of the bridal party has navy blue polka-dot ribbon and all other ladies have yellow polka-dot ribbon Contents of OOT box include: -2 bottle waters -2 packets of advil -1 roll of Rolaids -2 shout wipes -1 hand sanitizer -1 aloe vera -1 sunscreen -1 "B" (future last initial) tissue packet (4 in bmaids room - 1 for each girl) -1 mint box (4 in bmaids/gmens rooms - 1 for each person) -1 lint roller -1 travel size q-tips -1 mini-first aid kit -CD mailer packet: letter of explanation; CD for guests to burn images from wedding on, stamped/addressed return envelope (i'll try to post pic of this later!) -welcome letter -personalized spa wrap for women in room
