Ladies! oops TYPO in my previous post LMAO! The DJ is $170 per hour not $17 through the resort but we actually decided to book DJBob instead because Jen said he was great and it was less than the resort prices and you dont have to pay for him to enter the resort for the day. so the only thing we are paying for is the per person per hour price for our guests for the bar set up and the private set up. Plus DJ Bob was from Jersey soI know he will have the music we really want. Sorry for the massive typo!

Erica, why dont you see if they can accomodate a poolside reception after then dinner? that is what we are doing. you pay $17 for the DJ per hour and depending on what drinks you want served$5, $12 and up per guest per hour (the 2nd & 3rd hours are cheaper BTW) we are doing that, they set up lights, chairs, DJ& your own bar with own bar tender and you get to dance the night away beside the pool under the stars. ours for 18 people will cost$550 USD i think it is worth it. Great for a destination wedding. I cant remember if we stock 36's in the stores but you may be able to get it online. If you are in town you may as well check it out. I think in the middle would be good, have 3 days before then then wedding day then 3 days after. this way you have time to get organized, your guests have time to settle in, meet each other and bond then the wedding day celebration then the 3 days to relax and really enjoy a vacation with no other worries you know? that is what i am doing. also gives people time to recover the day after the wedding LOL
