sounds great, i love this thread! for ours, i bought plain white paper folding fans then embossed our monogram on it and tied ribbon (teal) our wedding color to the bottom of the fan. instead of people tapping wine glasses for us to kiss we will use maracas for a mexican flavor. ring bearer will be carring "rings" on a starfish, thats it so far

PDCBride I have booked with Claudia. And like you I struggled with this ALOT! but in the end, I showed FI both sites and he said Claudia too. I really liked Vanessa, her work is great, very nice lady, fast communication, very flexible. Claudia herself is doing our wedding and I am so excited, after reading all the reviews on here I wanted her. I want to have magazine like photos for this special day and her prices are really not THAT much compared to a few others especially for what you get. I hope you are able to put this decision to rest soon because there are other things that will need attention but either way it will be awesome!

Ladies has anyone had any luck communicating with Yuritzia I emailed her 1 week ago to confirm that we are doing the poolside DJ dancing and cocktail thing and no response! HI everyone, your help would be so appreciated. we are getting marrien at the Bahia Akumal next May and i am obsessed with having a crystal wedding tree to use atthe ceremony onthe beach as well as use it as a centerpiece for our reception. i want to DIY minus the braches b/c i dont think it will be easy to pack and i will be crushed if they end up crushed :-( also customs not sure if it will be ok. if i bring the lights and the crystals does anyone know where i can buy the branches inmexico? thank you!

hi guys thanks for the warm welcome! i have a few questions... my guests will be staying in the tulum side cause its cheaper than the akumal but we wanted to get married on the akumal beach (not the gazebo) and i have been told u can only get married on the side that u are staying at. is this true? if it is..why do hotels do that aaaaahhhh! thanks for the info

i have actually seenthe 1st one in person at walmart in bellingham wa and they are great! we are going to buy them at the end of the season hopefully on sale since our wedding isnt till nextyear, i think the 1st one is better also because ithas a drink holder and could potentially seat 2 i thik they were 8.99 at walmart, it might be cheaper to buy them there instead of paying for S&H too online

DRAI...you looked awesome in your pics! who did your wedding photos? getting married May2009 and looking for a photographer any suggestions anyone? Harv- The mayan riviera is awesome and also this resortis awesome, we went to the MR last month and had an amazing time so we decided we would go back and get married there next year and return every year after that! also it is very close to alot of tourist sites like tulum,akumal, conzumel, playa del carmen, xel ha and xcaret!

I think it works really well together! I love the colors A LOT!
